I personally feel some of the Street Alpha characters are outdated. Charlie, Juni, Juli... I don't have anything against these characters, but trying to put them back in the series wouldn't be fair to already superior characters or potential newbies.

Probably the two characters I would most like to see revived (again, in one case) are Eagle and Q. I feel both characters were very well played out and certainly left an impact on me.

Is it just me or is Ibuki not getting much love around here? Lol.

1. Alex. Plain and simple for the main character of Street Fighter 3 it is an absolute travesty that the guy has not made a single appearance in any other Street Fighter game. Karin is cool and all and I would like to see her again but no where near as much as I want Alex in any future installments. If Capcom decides to do another expansion to SF4 I can only hope and wish on every star that they finally give Alex the time of day. If not in SF4 then in SFxTK I don't care I just want the guy in a modern street fighter game.

2.Q again because he needs to be in a new game more than any other character imo. He's like Balrog but more interesting and not so generic and stereotypical. I'm fed up of the bland ST stereotype characters they have had their time, move on and replace those fighter types with newer characters. Balrog (replace with Q), E.Honda, Guile (Remy), Dhalsim (replace with necro) Gief even though he's bearable(with Alex) etc etc. Sf3 was a fight for the future and I want to see the future not ancient history).

I feel all the 3rd strike characters are more interesting as well as having more options and unique move lists than the orginal world warriors. Nerco can zone, rush down and has a command grab, whilst dhalsim is so linear, same with fei/yang remy/guile. If more 3rd strike characters could simply co-exist that would be could (ryu vs sean, alex vs gief, remy vs guile, dhalsim vs necro etc.) I think that would be absolutely sick!

C.Jack is also a cool alternative/replacement for Balrog. Not that he's bad in Sf4...

Also I should have voted for Abel, he is the closest thing to Alex just in case he never shows his face again and he has pretty cool mixups. El fuerte should return, he's always fun to throw into the mix, a good el fuerte is hype imo. Hakan I have mixed feelings because his whole designed rests on him getting oiled up and I think that might affect how good his is, although I do like the character. Rufus, Juri and the rest of the originals are honorable mentions I wouldn't mind coming back in SF5, just make sure viper isn't OP in that engine lol

I tried take into consideration of what each fighter can bring to the table for a new game. Sodom is one of my favorite characters, but he's not really contributing anything worth revisiting.

Birdie - His chains can make for hype looking gameplay and elaborate Ultras.

Necro & Twelve - I figure if they're both in a game we're talking a true sequel in a post-3rd Strike timeline.

R.Mika - The only female grappler as far as I know, she definitely needs more exposure. AND FLYING BUTT SLAM.

Karin - Okay, you got me. Karin is just f***ing cool, period.

I'm pretty sure Guy, Dudley, twins, Cody, and Makoto are pretty safe. The new IV characters' [Seth, C. Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte, Abel, Juri, Hakan and Gouken(?)] fates seem iffy to me though so vote for them if you want to save them. I personally hate almost everything about them though except for Juri and Hakan. Wouldn't know who to main if Capcom did a full roster.

3. Seth (huge lore and gameplay potiential for the future, and the least bad "big evil guy who knows the moves of everybody else for some reason" character in the SF Universe. Also air juggle down+MK rulz)

I think El Fuerte should get the nod in the next SF iterations and/or spinoffs, simply because he has the most accurate depiction of how a Luchador should be played as in fighting games, bar-none.

In all honesty no one should've chosen any standard characters in SF, because I think they learned their lesson from 3rd Strike, so only characters that potentially stand to lose a spot or should have a spot in a new game, because I seriously doubt we will see a game without Ryu, Ken, or Chun-li (etc.) that isn't a VS. game.

I also don't think anyone should've chosen Karin, because if Capcom doesn't know by now that the 99.9% of people in the community want her back, no survey in existence can make it happen.

Though I do think we should choose wisely, I personally don't think that people should worry too much, because there will probably be plenty more chances in the future to voice our opinions on who we'd like to see back.
