Updated: Ed Boon teases Doctor Fate in Injustice: Gods Among Us

Updated: The InjusticeGame official Twitter, has posted a new image of Shazam. In the background, you can see a clear image of Doctor Fate in a capsule.

Ed Boon is once again teasing another character for Injustice: Gods Among Us, a little bit ago on Twitter he posted an extremely blurry image of what appears to be Doctor Fate.

Doctor Fate is a powerful sorcerer and psychologist who wields the Helmet of Fate in a fight against evil. In the image, it appears Doctor Fate is locked in some sort of a capsule and could possibly in the background of a stage.

I'll be honest, I don't know shiet about Doctor Fate but I think NR's approach to include some obscure/dark-horse type of characters in their game is a great thing to do. That way people can feel fond about some unknown faces, and they'd get to know more about the comic universe such characters are from.

I'm interested in this game, but I'm tired of the "teasers." I'm ready to see more gameplay and some new character reveals. As many others have mentioned, the release date is two months and we haven't seen any footage in at least a month or so

Anyone who says strange is obscure needs there head checked, Now SPIRAL, BIRDY(! "yes boss") and Blackheart are more obscure.

briliiant character, the roster is still wank though for me to consider spending money on this and the DLC around it smells fishy too
still where are the gameplay vids for Green Lantern,Joker, i was hyped for this game but the lack of info and the roster are a huge put-off

Everything is subjective. I'm not much into comics, but whenever I see a DC game there seems to be no one that catches my eye and seems interesting. Most SEEM (I don't say they are) rather generic on first glance. I'm not into Marvel either, but there are some interesting characters that attract me right away (and a huge bulk of just as generic characters^^).

That said, DC has Batman, arguable the best hero of all. But that's about it. I think DC characters are just not as prominent as your typical Marvel characters. It's just that the "poster heroes of DC" are so boring (except for the bats) where as most of Marvel's poster heroes are at least semi-interesting.

What I'd love to see is a Marvel vs DC game!

Judging by the fact that he's in the background AND his model looks very bland and lacking in detail compared to the playable cast, I'm guessing he's not playable. Bummer.
This game is still severely lacking non-mainstream characters. Too many A and B-listers, not enough lesser-known characters being given a chance to shine.
