Damn I knew Asuka could do big damage by herself, but not that big! Thank god she doesn't have good footsies, or else she would be god tier.

What #2 said. Even pre-patch many more characters than the ones (rarely) seen on streams were viable.

Yeah, as a Asuka player I can say damage she can do is just insane. Range of her normals are not that great, but I get the counter vs any character going a bit crazy with footsies.
Btw, almost all her normals and unique attacks moves her forward and that is pretty good,

As far as viability of characters, it boils down to how easy each character is to use. This the standard fare of character you see are always there. There much easier to use than say Asuka, Bob, Lei etc.

Asuka can do 700 damage combos?

I need to fking expand my horizons. Ryu X Hwo is my comfort zone, but it'd be nice hainv some of this stuff to utilize for myself. I love maximizing damage, so I'm sure I could eventually pull these off in real matches (somewhat) consistently.

Am i the only Steve player in the world? I never see anything about Steve, his damage output is insane, and has o.k tools. But i'd wish there would had been at least of couple video repping Steve Fox.

I practice a lot with Asuka, I always failed connecting with her Super. I was even doing similar combos he was doing, but the low kick always misses. She does have high damage, but you got to remember most of her combos are with HK & HP hits.

What roster?

I only see Jin, Kazuya, Lars, Ryu, Juri and Rolento.

Didn't know this game had any more characters.
