people still play mk9?..

and really 20 games and no 3s?

Definitely a variety but some of those game choices are suspect

Never heard of Mobile suit gundam as a fighting game. Does it Have Domon Kasshu?

It's a great lineup, considering as many games as it has, but it really should include 3S in there.

And KOF 2002UM!

Personally, I think one Soul Calibur is enough, and SF2 is a waste of time because it is too similar to SF4. If you so much love SF2, then you should have included SF3.

I would also get rid of MvC3. It is HELL BORING! There is no hype. All we see is the same characters and the same combo. Besides Chris G, anyone can be winner with X factor and Zero. The game is like a lottery. The game is dead.

And divekick? Seriously? That's for kids. Yeah it looks fun to watch for like 5 minutes. After that, everyone fall asleep.

In conclusion, 16 games instead of 20. More quality, less quantity.

Gundam VS was actually the top fighting game in Japanese arcades

If one Soul Calibur is enough, then so is one Street Fighter.

I actually think 3S would be a great inclusion.

I do think the streams should focus more on the games with higher entrants (seems logical), but I don't mind seeing the grand finals of all the games. Sounds like a good weekend to me.

So what's everything being ran on ps3 or xbox??

#22
yes4me said on December 28, 2013 at 2:32 a.m.

That's exactly what I wrote.
The games to remove should have been: 1 of 2 Soul Calibur, SF2, MvC3, and Dive

#23
EnkiduV3 said on December 28, 2013 at 3:09 a.m.

You also implied that they should replace SF2 with SF3.

And lol@remove MvC3. Just because you don't like the game doesn't mean it isn't the second most popular fighting game right now. It would be stupid to take that game out.

Valle doing it right.

#29
yes4me said on December 28, 2013 at 8:19 a.m.

No you didn't get (again) what I wrote. I am implying that either you include SF2, SF3, and SF4, or just one SF game. It makes no sense to have SF2 for nostalgia, and not include also SF3. Seriously, read my post again instead of arguing.

Just because you like MvC3 does not mean it is not boring.

this is where the FGC goes wrong 20 games but the viewers will not come for this nonsense. Just hard core fanboys. It will be the same games (SF$, UMVC3) that will bring in the support. why not diverse in to bringing other popular, non fighting game titles to the mix?

bring more viewers more money for everyone......

EHubs create a poll to see how many people will watch these titles, please! Try prove me wrong.

sprflyspdrguy said on December 28, 2013 at 8:43 a.m.

Bet you Tokido takes a third of these games if he comes.

#34
Xykes said on December 28, 2013 at 9:08 a.m.

The FGC is about players, not the folks sitting at home watching.

The money, support, and participation are what fund the FGC. The people WHO BUY GAMES. The people who PLAY TOURNAMENTS. The people who SPEND MONEY ON THE GENRE. Viewers don't always do this.

Don't forget that.

Viewers will NEVER be more important than the PLAYERS.

Half of the people watching on streams probably don't even play fighting games.
ALL of the people who play in the tournament play fighting games.

PLAYING fighting games is about the people who actually PLAY.

too many games. That mean bad environment for players. The finals will be most likely a ghetto side to side setup.
