ChrisG playing with low tier teams is actually fun to watch.
Not much else is fun to watch in UMVC3
FChamps play is also next level.

etrotman said on December 6, 2013 at 6:58 p.m.

If he places higher than PR Rog and the big names, then everyone who supported smug is right, and you would be wrong. Personally, I will wait and see, if he can place top 8 in the set of players, he's moved on from online warrior to legit pro. If he does better than rog, or places top 3, he's now moving closer to the elite among american players. His youth and inexperience are the only things that may hold him back.

#8
deus said on December 6, 2013 at 8:46 p.m.

You should stop riding PR Rog's D unless you're a legit homo. If people wanna support Smug or some random scrub then let them be. No need to tell people to love all the popular people when there are others that people find interesting ya, dumb dog.

Another typical Big E tournament; internet problems, not starting on time, paper brackets, raffles on stream, multiple moments of long downtime.

Stay free East Coast.

Kind of a lame end to Sanford vs JWong. If Sagat's ultra connected properly in the corner, it would've been Sanford's game.

#45
spotlesseden said on December 7, 2013 at 8:01 p.m.

not the same. Parry counter anti dp, so you can keep jumping in in 3rds for free if you are good. You need HP bars for Red Focus to work, if you have no HP you still die. Parry doesn't require HP.

#46
SgtKonus said on December 7, 2013 at 8:05 p.m.

Real Talk: I'm not afraid to be wrong, I thought Sanford was washed up and was about to get bodied. Then I watched the Exhibition Matches, guy is a silent killer, he made Aqua look free, beat the highest placing American at EVO and then barely lost to Justin. That guy's passion and fire is just incredible, he put the USA SF4 scene on blast and the only one who barely stopped him was Jwong. That was some of the best SF4 I've ever seen and our scene needs more top players calling each other out.

#47
JIHADJOE said on December 7, 2013 at 8:13 p.m.

Excellent stream as usual from Spooky. I really liked what they did with AE pools where only the qualifying matches were shown... That must've taken quite some effort to organize.

#57
Remondo02 said on December 8, 2013 at 1:13 a.m.

Yeah, you're right...for yourself.
I'm not you.

I saw something I really dislike so I just wanted to tell that fact. I really think Rog is a good guy so to me it's unbelivable that somebody 'taunt' him like that.

No respect at all !

FGC can be really discusting sometimes and it was the case that time.

Anyway, if they're really firends then everything is alright but the US mentality is really childish. Damn, you are no kids anymore. Act like adults now guys !

#60
MrKingFunk said on December 8, 2013 at 3:25 a.m.

It's all about wanting to be the best. I think you should take Sanford calling him out as a sign of respect rather than disrespect. He wants to prove something, so he's calling out the best player in order to challenge him.

If everyone was always friendly and stuff this community would be so boring.

The "Sanford Kelly vs." exhibitions were soooo good. It all came down to Teacher (JWong) vs. Student (Sanford), final round, final move. One of the hypest nights I've seen in the FGC.

#65
EMP_TriForce_GM said on December 8, 2013 at 5:48 a.m.

The core elements of the FGC is drama, hype and entertainment. From the days of old, these legendary rivalries is what makes the FGC what it is. As for the teacher vs. the student, Justin isn't Sanford teacher. They are in fact just two great rivals. There is a whole legendary story to the two rivals that literately dates back 10 years. It's more like Goku and Vegeta.

#66
Raloobs said on December 8, 2013 at 6:02 a.m.

Really not cool of whoever is running the USF4 demo to not allow players to change characters. How else would we see more characters in action?
What's worse is that they have Chuns facing low tiers like
Dudley and Dee Jay instead of showing us how viable she is by putting her against top tiers.

EMP_TriForce_GM said on December 8, 2013 at 2:20 p.m.

Actually these have been EMP members for some time now. The only new members are the second Dynasty since the "Fall Out" in 2010 when Justin left EMP and all of his friends who were Empire left with him because they had no faith in EMP. Since then it pretty much forced the Empire to get a new army hence the term "The Second Dynasty". That consist of NuckleDu, KBrad, Flocker, Darth Arma, CD Jr. and Tampa Bison. The rest have been around for many years. Also I've turned down many members because players join for other players not for the goal and purpose of the Empire. We wouldn't want another Justin situation with a fall out happening again. It nearly killed the Empire. However it didn't and what didn't kill us... well as you can see, has made us most certainly stronger.
