Maximilian plays Soul Calibur 2 running in HD, Novemeber Hype compilation, Max vs. fLoE in UMvC3, TOW celebrates UMvC3's 1 year anniversary and more

Drat, it's just the old emulator trick. Here I was thinking it was a console version. Spawn, Heihachi, Link and Necrid were really fun and godlike in this game.

Soul Calibur 2 was my favourite - the movesets got more and more simplified as the series continued.

You know I used to support Maximillian, I used to watch all his videos and do what I could because I thought he was helping the community. Then I realized he was doing the exact opposite. He is the reason the FGC is sliding back into a recession.

Look at his web page. NOTHING but UMVC3 videos and video from old dead fighting games. He supports no new fighters at all. He has no videos fro Tag 2, none for Persona, nothing fro Virtua Fighter, KOF, hell anything anymore. He doesn't even support SFIV:AE 2012.

All he does is promote dead games that are never going to come back like 3rd Strike, Marvel 2, Marvel 1(WTF), and all this other crap. Cool if you like playing those games and I do too but that doesn't help the community it hurts it cause the reality is those games are 10+ years old and had their time and aren't coming back.

Meanwhile Max shows no support for any new games and people wonder. "Well why are there so many Marvel Monsters?" cause Max feeds the Marvel monsters, he provides content that allows them to exist with tutorials and what not but he doesn't do the same for any relevant fighter. It's crap like this why everyone has to deal with "Where's Marvel?" 24/7.

Maximillian you are what is wrong with the FGC. The push nothing but Marvel and your responsible for this scrub "Where's Marvel?" mentality that now plagues our scene. If you cared about the FGC so much like you claim you would do your best to support actual relevant new games instead of dragging us further down this useless dead end that is UMVC3.

720p for Soul Calibur 2? At the very least it should be 1080p, get it together Max.

With all the content he is uploading, it would only be fair to him that he actually enjoy what hes playing. I mean what sense does it make to upload videos of mediocre play of a game he has no exp in.

@3 - Virtua Fighter and KOF are both old though, and Max doesn't know $hit about either, so let him keep the Capcom $hit to himself.

There are other players in the community doing plenty for VF, KOF, Persona, etc, they just don't get the spotlight on Eventhubs or SRK's frontpage like Max does when he does his random online sessions.

Man do I miss Soul Calibur 2.

@3: You're talking like Maximillian controls the fgc...in reality he's actually a very small portion of it, and, no offense to him because I actually do like his content, but he's not the one that brings out the stream monsters and the hype to games. It's like saying all the SSF4 channels out there are harming the community. Also, kof xiii is as old as Ultimate Marvel and Virtua fighter 5 is several years old. Get your facts right, at least.

@8 - KOFXIII is older than UMvC3, the game came out in arcades in 2010.

Oh god i remember so much of Soul Calibur 2, the best version in the series in my opinion, the rest were not as impressive as 2, except for the voice acting, and exclusive characters that are always on both consoles, But what i wanted to happen if SC 4 was on the Wii with SC3 graphics instead of that stupid adventure game that had the exclusive character Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia, people would have bought that edition to play as Lloyd instead of.....star wars characters that were on both consoles.

@3 Well to be fair Max isn't the only person focusing on 1 fighting game, others focus purely on Tekken, Persona 4 arena, KOF, ect, nothing else but that one game they are really good at. Who can blame em he's a marvel player since he was a kid growing up in the arcades. No one can play 7 other fighting games and be the best at it when they come back over and over, well, except J Wong but whatever.

@3 im not gunna sit here and explain it all but. hes good for this community always he keeps nistolgia alive. some people would really wanna play these games in the current light again. im 26 and like most of the fgc have been around and actually played at the hype or realeses of these games. u have to understand that it is his page his content. just dont watch it. but for me i love mvc and his vids are awesome well done and put together. i mean who puts together a combo vid like max no one i say. the only man makin live action combo vids genious.

You have the choice to watch these videos or not. Why do you think people care what you watch and what you don't. If you like Max, watch. If you don't, just keep steppin. Its not that hard.

@3 Where's Marvel At? Oh yeah, it's headlining every tournament! Marvel is always the majority cause it's a more exciting game. AE is great but only hype in top 8. And like somebody has already said, dont watch max's videos if your gonna act like a little twink about it afterward. Your like a stupid dog that wont understand that the sandwich on the couch is not for you.

Max plays Marvel because he has the most fun with Marvel. A lot of people feel the same way.

No matter all the reasons they post for hating Max, like #3... the real reason they dislike him is because, he is not a pro player and doesn't go to tournaments. That is all there is to it. People are so in love with high level play and their obsession with it leads to disrespect anything else automatically.
