Zhi from Cross Counter Asia is releasing the audiobook version of Daigo's recent book. His English translation will be released over multiple installments.

Zhi also mentions Daigo's appearance at the Singaporte Road to EVO qualifier (Southeast Asia Major 2012) from June 8th to 10th.

Leave some feedback for Zhi regarding his presentation. Tip from Rafael2487.

He's certainly a cunning linguist. Seriously, though; I can't believe all the work that must have gone into this for it to be given away for free. Excellent stuff.

Pretty decent Bert and Ernie impression, too.

a full text translation may result in copyright issues. We will consult Phoenix Wright first to determine the legality of releasing the text.

Why don't big sites like Eventhubs or SRK start a petition to send to Shougakukann(the Japanese publisher) to have this book properly translated and sold out side of Japan?

real confused by the bert and ernie shtick but thanks for reading a portion of daigos book in english.. the publishers are braindead to not have an english translation made.. what fighting game enthusiast wouldnt shell out ten bucks for some wisdom from the beast?

I agree with some of the youtube comments, ripping off Daigo by not getting permission and paying royalties just to get publicity hits and Twitter followers is kinda shady.

Somebody should write to the publisher to see if they are translating it already.
If not then I agree with the petition idea to get the book properly translated and have Daigo get paid for what he deserves.

It does take time to translate and countless proof reads for a real product to come out though. Hopefully people will respect Daigo enough to not pirate the book like people pirate (and somehow feel like they have "the right" to pirate) everything else these days...

@SamuraiD

I agree. While I would love an english version this is copywritten material. I strongly suggest they get absolute permission. If they are making an english copy for the West then I will buy it for sure but I don't like just copying something like this without permission.

This is'nt like it's a stratagy guide from a big company, it's his personal book.

We're asking for Daigo/Shogakukan's permission when we meet him in Singapore and will fully comply with copyright law and his wish. Thanks for your concerns and suggestions.
