stream quality is 120p at best. unwatchable and the organizer give a sh!t. the only thing they do is trolling and bashin sfxt instead of fixing the issue. the stream 2 runs at 720p but the main stream is pixel-war...

worst streaming ever. canada cup was luxus in comparison.

If you're tired of SF X T and want to enjoy a good quality stream, enjoy the AE footage from Shadowloo 2k 11. I really hope the rest of the tournament doesn't suck this much.

Interesting showing from Ryan Hart, got inside Gachi-Kun's head and proceeded to smash him. He's now beaten Gachi and RF convincingly in Sagat mirrors IN tournament, crazy stuff.

Overall fantastic tournament, and the top 8 is very different than I would have expected it look. Pulling for Neurosis at this point but I'm not sure I like his chances as much as Gamerbee or Banbaban.

Despite the sub par stream 1 quality I woz lovin' this however I couldn't watch all day despite the favorable stream times for myself, so got a couple of questions:

Who beat poongko (both times)?

I saw Justin lose to Gamerbee, who else beat him?

Woz so hype when the Chinese 'Daigo' beat Fuudo twice. Always thought that a sh1tty matchup for Ryu but the lad played it so well!

Anyway, shoutouts to antipodea for putting on such a boss tourney!

Poongko lost to Bonchan in winners and then Fuudo in losers - Justin lost to Gamerbee and then Naruo's Ryu.

I thought it was interesting that Fuudo lost to Chinese Daigo twice - that guy seems to know the Ryu matchup as well as anybody and to see a Ryu player just take him down like that is pretty awesome to watch (as well as seeing Neurosis absolutely wreck Bonchan).

Ryan Hart trashing Gachi in Sagat mirror is still probably the biggest shocker for me - that guy dominates in that match-up

I agree but Fuudo played really sloppy...missing a lot of cambos and punishes.

Something I noticed in this tournament in particular is people are being far less respectful and "intimidated" so to speak of Poongko's skill/style and as such they're just flat out doing much better against him.

Not to imply that Poongko isn't good enough to wreck any player on a given night, but just an observation after seeing Ryan Hart beat him in a convincing 3-1 during the pre-tourney matches as well as Bonchan playing much more confidently against him this time around.
On top of that Seth is such an all or nothing character with his health/stun values and constant guessing game approach - it's gotta be hard for him to contend with any consistency at the highest levels.

poongko has really decreased a level in sf4 after playing sfxt now, he seems to have the sfxt mindset in his sf4 game by just doing brainless pressure and not thinking clearly. His mixups and mindgames has definately became weaker through the past few months

Can anyone tell me who beat Leslie both times? I saw the Shangtsung match which I assumed was Winner's bracket action but who actually eliminated him?

So many matches took place off stream

For whoever was asking about KOF results. The top 16 for 3S and KOFXIII is being played now so we should have a top 4 online in the next hour or so.

As always you can see all the finals day brackets live at http://ss.couchwarriors.org

I'll be updating the top 8 brackets as they're played tonight so you can all follow along.

@62 Yes, that was simply saying, you're an open book.

Can somebody tell me if they have the Day-1 UMvC3 stream in the archives? I couldn't find it for the life of me. I wanna see some JWong with his Storm team.

Also, if anybody knows when umvc3 finals will start, let me know as well. And if you happen to read this while watching umvc3, please post. I'm multitasking, so hopefully I'll be able to take a break when it matters.

@ #66

He's definitely the most proficient: AE, MVC3, KOF, SC5, SFxT, BB, Tekken, hell even ST/HDR.

There's nothing (MK? lol) this guy cannot play at elite level, it's insane.

Hope that Tokido's getting a good payout (not just from this tourney - but a salary of sorts) to match his consistent results.

MarlinPie bringing the heat! He and Chris G have the sickest Dooms and have really elevated an already great character into something else entirely. I'd like to see those 2 do some damage in the upcoming big majors.

I'm also really curious about Justin. Is that Wolvie team really going to be his main at EVO? His Felicia has been looking so clutch. I was even digging his Frank West and Spiderman stuff. I guess I just feel like there's still so much untapped potential in those characters (especially Spidey) and the right player needs to come along and really unlock that.
