The build in the trailer is old since they changed the bars from Greenish to Blue-White.

I suppose that's one way you can interpret it, but I'm pretty sure he was just saying that tag players CAN (not will!) beat solo players (in response to the accusation that solo is too good). Always consider context!

Whether that turns out to be true or not is a different matter, though.

Oh no, I'm sure it isn't balanced...like, at all. But they're not gonna tell us that! :P

What exactly is "Pair Play?" Is it 2v2 with 4 consoles? Or is it 2v2 with 2 consoles (couch co-op)? Will this be available on all consoles?

Let's get these questions answered now so we avoid misinformation later on.

That has been in every Tekken. Represents the hits connecting. Every game has it... It just looks different in every fighting game.

Pair play is pretty much where you and a friend team up.. Each of you controlling a character. Now if I remember in Tag 1, up to four people could play on one console.. Now that online is being added to everything, I would assume that it could be offline: 2-4 players, Online: possibly 1-4(each team member using his/her own console) or 2-4 ( two people on one console possibly facing another team on another console or even two other people on their own consoles). In other words... They will most likely go with the PS3 SFxT format.

now, tekken games have something SF doesn't have, and it probably the reason why SF dont and i guess will never like it that much

beginners can press random button combinations, do something interesting on screen and somewhat enjoy the game

Looks good, still kind of doubtful of the 2vs1 solo player being too unbalanced but time will tell. Im just too hyped for jun!

The announcer reminds me of those mock announcers you see in sitcom\sketches where they'd be joking to make something boring look hyped or where the hype is ridculous like "you've played games with DLC now play ....DLC THE GAME!" kind of thing

Damn is it just me or does it seem as if that trailer was put together by the same Capcom team that did the SF IV and SF X T ones? :p Even the Tag Tournament logo reminds me of the fonts used in those games tbh

Absolutely looking forward to buying this game, NO cross or X here, just pure tekken at its core for the true tekken fans.
