@5

Thank You! Now AE is supposed to be hard? You people were bashing on AE when 3SO came out. Slop it with the bullsh*t

Is AE more technical than SFXT definetly but 3S is more technical than AE and most people bash it I always find it funny people want a game just technical enough for them but not too technical But seriously I do love AE too i like SFXT but if I see 1 more black or whit color schemed character I'm gonna open fire in a crowd of people (just kidding don't condone that behavior) but anyway good to see some AE play

LOL I don't see how they can simplify inputs further than Hadoken + Easy Input Gem.

I love Sako's Ibuki thanks for the upload!

Im sick of the black and white color schemes too. Why would Capcom start you off with two colors anyway? I thought it was supposed to be a customization mode. I know the colors will be free but damn capcom

to be fair, sako's ibuki is on a technical level that rivals the technicalities in 3s. i play both games, and how sako is playing is insane. a lot of people who claim SF4 is easy mode couldnt replicate what hes doing even if they tried. im not just talking about those fsncy 1 frame links either

vanilla SFxT = vanilla SF4

Why would anyone think SFxT would shadow or overtake SSF4 AE

SFxT have been out only a couple of days, nobody know how good or bad it did in term of sales
and its a different game from SSF4 AE
SSF4 AE to SFxT is not the same as what 3rd strike is to SSF4

SFxT is not SF5, its on the same console generation, the quality is almost the same, its 2 on 2 or team vs team, its not pure 1 on 1, the gameplay is different according to review, and different is not better, its just different

And honestly I think capcom did that on purpose so not to compete with itself, this make more sense, they didnt make a better SSF4, they made a different fighter

I expect SSF4 AE to live for a couple more years until SF5 on the next generation consoles comes out

And finally I WANT DAT HORI STICK ....GIMMMMEEEEE ITS MINE

Wow, talk about a lot of hypocrisy going on in the community. Since SFxT came out, many people were saying that 'SSF4 is more technical than SFxT' or 'SSF4 is better than SFxT'. I knew this would happen, predictable as usual. This whole 'technical' mentality thing is the reason why many of you will never enjoy a good fighting game, whether it is technical or not. Drop this mentality, it is pathetic.

Mechanics-wise, SF3 and SSF4 are different in many ways. To say that SF3 is more technical than SSF4 is not a way to go. True that beginners will struggle more in SF3 than in SF4 but when both of these games are being played at the highest level, they're both equally technical in their own ways. You wouldn't see someone like MOV and Kuroda doing so well at SF4 just like SF3 because even though they are so good at SF3, SF4 is more different to SF3.

Yeah SF3 is the least technical, All you had to do is perry. Master that and all the normals become useless except for starting a combo string after a perry!

after mastering SF3 the whole game became much more boring all you could do at high level is throw! u would see many rounds of repeated throws! thats the only thing that counters perry!

SF4 solved this by focus attack & Focus breaking moves which SF3 should have had!

the only broken thing in SF4 is the blocking system! its too hard to block ambiguous cross-up. I think that part needs patching!

@7

lol @ "daigo wishes he could play this well". kazunoko outplays sako here, a guy that daigo has a winning record against in the arcades. also, sako almost loses to nekojita, a guy daigo pretty much dominates in the arcades. so to say daigo can't play this well is bs.

Temtt said on March 12, 2012 at 5:16 a.m.

Please stop this stupid "my favorite player is better than your favorite player"-bullsh*t.

@27
Really?!
That's like saying: "Kindevu outplayed Daigo at TopangaCup and Sako completely dominated Kindevu there" or "Sako destroyed Daigo 3-0 at TopangaCup"

Do you see how stupid that is?

What does "technical" even means?
