Information regarding Street Fighter X Tekken for the PlayStation Vita coming in April

Posted by Nate 'Nyoro' Young • March 10, 2012 at 8:50 a.m. PST
Andriasang reported that Street Fighter X Tekken assistant producer Ayano released a new video talking about when to expect news for the Vita version of the game. He says to wait for April, which is also the time Ono said to wait for in regards to news about the DLC characters.

He says the version is in development so he can't show the game screen but he does demonstrate the touch controls in a perfect imitation of your average online player. This video was uploaded the day after the massive leak of characters, costumes and gems onto the internet so it's likely this trailer was actually shot before that time.

The news seems to all point to Captivate in April.

So we don't have to wait til September for the DLC characters? That might calm some people down.

Nevermind, it's only "news" so we still have to wait 6 or more months -_-.

I don't mind that the Characters are on the disc (especially after the headache MK 9 had online do to there dlc costumes/characters). Its having to (as it stands now) wait until after the Vita release in the Fall (after EVO) to use them.

So they have time to go running around dressed up as Blanka, and show off the PS Vita version, but they can't even make a general announcement about what their plans for Couch-Coop on X360 are, and Seth Killian just flat out LIED about Dev response earlier this week?

Wow, Crapcom is amazing, for all the wrong reasons.

Also, no I am not going to let this die, so long as this issue exists I will be posting in various SFXT threads to remind people of Crapcom's BS.

Judging by the current sales charts it seems SF X T is going to do better than UMVC3 but i think worse than SSFIV. This whole DLC thing blew up in their faces and whatever my opinion about it is, it seems a lot of people wont be buying SF X T at launch. I think the best choice for Capcom is to release the DLC characters earlier than they planned and IMO for free.

The game is complete...everything is on the disc - 100 alternative costumes, 12 extra characters, and all of the gems are on the disc. If you don't believe then check out this guy's channel to see what I talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p57E9C...

For those who don't know, Capcom has a big money deal with Sony to lock all the DLC characters until the Vita is released in hopes of pushing SF X T sales on the port. To add to this, they're charging $20 less and making console owners foot the bill. Why should we be punished after many years of support? They don't care about us, and are perfectly willing to risk their entire hardcore fanbase over a market that may not buy another Capcom product in their life. Don't let them continue to screw us over. Boycott the Vita(if you haven't bought one already) and voice your outrage!

I have all the characters unlocked for the 360 including Mega-Man and Pac Man.

I feel that Dudley is the same as in SF4. Blanka still mashes punch for electricity (not sure why Chun-Li is motion). Guy doesn't have a floaty jump anymore.

I haven't played it much since, I own the game and rather play online than do trials all day.
