This is what Capcom gets for putting these characters on the damn disc for a game you already purchases and forcing you to shell out more money for characters that should have just been unlockable from the start. I honestly hope whoever is figuring out all these exploits to get these characters and alt. costumes comes forward with a tutorial or something so we all can just get them for free. I mean, how is Capcom supposed to sell of this content now? They can't even keep it from leaking already...

I smell shenanigans... Toro and Kuro are on that select screen... and I know for sure they aren't on the 360 disc. If it was PS3 Cole would be on the select screen too... it's easy to rip the character art and photoshop a select screen

the funniest part about all the complaining is that it's probably from people who don't even have that hard of a time affording to buy the damn DLC. i have a hard time seeing people with real life problems and burdens and bills doing all this complaining. and if one does have these obligations and this extra money breaks the bank... just don't buy it - or the game for that matter.

as for complaining because the DLC is already on the game... gotta love people who think they're entitled to everything, and think these businesses don't want to try to max their profits, lol.

almost every major title out there has some way to make a few extra bucks from providing DLC. the gaming industry is booming out of control, and companies see opportunity to make extra profit. IMO, capcom could be milking us MUCH HARDER for the extra bucks... so the complainers need to pipe down.

I remember someone doing that on PS3 with Marvel vs Capcom 3 and made characters like Shuma playable before release

Capcom is legally allowed to do this nothing we say or do will stop them dlcing them on this game atleast. We should make our voices heard on the pricing as they will sell them no matter what. Say we wont take it unless for a price which benefits us and doesnt equal a re-edition because if you let them they will sell it for super sfXT prices. If this DLC plan was for the fans make it so.

Also those saying those who don't like it dont buy it, guess what, we kind of do and cashcon know this. This isnt costume or cosmetics. They know we want to be able to take on anyone and they know without the characters we cannot practice against them, therefore we need to buy them so we know which attacks to beat out which spam tactics.

Again, capcom have all legal rights for this, however make our voices present of the prices. Boycott the DLC until fairly priced otherwise darkstalkers 4 (or w.e is the new fg) they will know how to push it and MORE!! If we boycott this game entirely then DLC wont ever happen again, make them have to have dlc store discount by figures and so if it is fairly priced we will support it.

this is the only truth there is. even if you guys only WANT to believe in your own theories, it doesn't make them true or even logical.

YOU DO NOT HAVE RIGHT TO EVERY SCRIPT ON THE DISC, YOU ONLY HAVE RIGHT TO WHAT YOU PAID FOR AND THAT IS THE BASIC CHARACTER ROSTER. THAT is what you agreed on buying, even before there was any confirmation of the 12 characters. the fact that the 12 characters might or might not be (fully balanced) on the disc doesn't change the fact that you paid for the basic roster and NOT for the 12 extra characters.

True, on disk extra content has been a regular thing with many games and brands the past few years. In the case of the 12 characters there was a very different approach from Capcom about this than in the past:

1. The admitted to the 12 characters and even officially told us their names, a first

2. They did not say they where going to be Vita exclusives, they said they will appear on the Vita version first. This was obviously part of the big deal they made with Sony - a way to boost interest and sales of both the Vita version of SF X T but of the Vita handheld itself. I am sure Sony paid Capcom good money for it.

3. They haven't spoken about pricing of the 12 characters. They didn't even tell us if these characters will be paid DLC or free. For all we know they might have had them planned as day 1 DLC like BBCS did with characters like Makoto or MK did with Skarlet, Kenshi etc yet in the end they opted to keep them locked on disk until after the Vita version - due to their agreement with Sony.

After all the outrage and name calling though, i wouldn't be surprised if Capcom opted out of the agreement with Sony now and offered the characters on console way faster. Will they be free? I doubt Capcom planned it to be so, but maybe now they will do just that, who knows.

At the end of the day we all pay for what is written at the back of the box, inside the instruction manual of the game, and on the official site of the game. So even if there are 40+ characters on disk, unless they where officially mentioned to be part of what we pay for the game at launch there is no legal foul play by Capcom or Sony. Sure, it sucks how they could offer us more for the price, unfortunately though this is the business model EVERY company follows nowadays. Personally i never buy DLC anymore, i only did when SF IV came out and got the costume packs. After that i never bothered again. But i have pre-ordered SF X T, in collector's edition guise from 2 regions non the less, cause i wanted to. And if there will be a GOTY or a newer disk version down the line i will definitely buy it as well.

I agree with smok3yhaze2. To an extent I think its grate there’s people that go out of there way to give the fans a taste of what’s to come, but good god I feel like there’s nothing even to discover. I hope capcom remembers that it was them that killed the fighting game franchise the first time, and by over saturation.
