Super Battle Opera (Tougeki) 2012 game lineup announced, new location, last year? The lineup for Japan's largest arcade tournament, Super Battle Opera (Tougeki) has been announced for 2012. Ryan "Fubarduck" Harvey posted the details on his Twitter account.

• Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited 2v2
• Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012 3v3
• Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena 1v1
• Aquapazza 2v2
• Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown 3v3
• Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike 3v3

Also, it was revealed that this year's event will no longer take place at the Tokyo Game Show, as they received complaints and hope to bring an an event that appeals to players this year.

The site also states that this may be the last year for Super Battle Opera.

#3 lol, i think you confused this for an American tournament. Japan isn't capcom dominated, and can play a game that doesn't have ryu in it.

Tougeki is obsolete. The last 2 Capcom fighters have been console only. Has AE2012 even received the latest bug fix patch in arcades? Anyway after how our players were treated last year America shouldn't care anymore.
