Today on Twitter Adam Apicella from MLG announced that Soul Calibur 5, King of Fighters 13 and Mortal Kombat 9 will all have $16,700 in prizes for each game at MLG Winter Championships Columbus on March 23, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio.
Soul Calibur V, King of Fighters XIII and Mortal Kombat 9 on PS3 at MLG Winter Championships Columbus. $16,700 in prizes for each.
This most likely means that the other games will have the same payout that Mortal Kombat has which was announced in mid February.

MLG picking up KOF is great news, seeing this just made my day.
@5 you really gotta keep up with the news man. Capcom (at the time) wants nothing to do with MLG.
Excellent news! KOF XIII is an excelent game, but mostly people that didn't played say that it's crap only because it's a 2D game.
@13: Capcom is already a big company, my wish is that SNKP (SNK Playmore) gets as bigger as it was one day, so we could see Fatal Fury again, Samurai Shodown again and other games... and of course, a new crossover with Capcom.
Suddenly I feel glad that I live in Columbus, Ohio and another upside is that it is a day after my b-day!!
@14 yea, i so wish for a new samurai showdown game, the best fighting game ever, even better than SF in my opinion
for me the best fighting series are (in order)
1. Samurai showdown
2. Street fighter
4. Tekken
5. King of fighters
6. Marvel vs Capcom
7. Mortal Kombat
i never played soul calibur or VF
