EndlessComboz came up with a crazy 330 hit combo in Skullgirls using Valentine, Painwheel and Double. This combo showcases a ton of excellent juggles and actually takes roughly 1:30 to perform fully.

Why was this game praised as the second coming of Christ again?

cause catalyst doesnt wanna listen to me .i suggested we make SSBB section in the website.
if we let skullgirls make in why not SSBB?
330 hits is cool.you should guys take a look at blazblue.
i saw guys doing some reset and go take a shower and come back and still have time to combo.(exageration)
conclusion:it takes a lot of stupid stuff to make a world.

SSBB and BB weren't hailed as the the fighter to save the genre. One is made without competitive play in mind, the other is a niche game as VF is.

Aaaaaaand that, along with other things, is why Mike Z and the SG staff is patching this game.

LOL at Skullgirls being compared to Smash. Lets compare SF2 Turbo to Persona 4 Arena while we are at it. These comments make SRK front-page look like well-spoken academics.

People complaining about a 5 meter, 3 character, corner only, possibly character-specific combo that will be irrelevant after the patch.

Keep trying, guys.

you guyz underestimate the power of pikach as an assist.

@ those Smash Brothers comments. Meh. that's more of a party game than fighting, sure some people like it, but I would rather play king of fighters, street figher, tekken and so one any day over those cutesy squishy cartoony characters (only character that doesn't make sense being there was snake).Skullgirls has more of the fighting game feel to it at least (influenced on MVC, and street fighter alpha) .

Smash Bros is miles away from looking like a traditional fighting game to be compared to anything here.

But to each their own if they enjoy it.

saying SSMB was not designed with competitive play in mind, is a ignorant statement to make. melee has a large tournament scene and has tech that "outsiders" wouldn't even know about. its not a traditional fighting game but its still a fighting game. sure it has cute characters but it also has marth gannon, link, zelda, shiek, Ike. the list goes on.

and don't get me started on the fact that sony's SSMB ripoff is getting fighting game coverage while SSMB is something the same webs covering sony's game refuses to mention. its just the traditional double standard nintendo hate we see all the time.

nintendo does something = gimmick

sony/microsoft does the same thing = greatest innovation ever!

*sees smash being discussed on a skullgirls article still..

yup point proven

Lol at people thinking that a 300+combo means jack with all that damage scaling. ProTip: You win more often with well-timed resets then long-ass combos

@samuraix025

You can't possibly think something with random tripping in it designed with competitive play in mind.
