Persona 4 Arena: E3 trailer, release date August 7, 2012

A new trailer for Persona 4 Arena was released by Atlus at E3. This title will be available on August 7, 2012 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to the official Twitter account.

I wanna pick this game up as my alternative non-capcom fighter, but it just doesn't seem like anyone is planning on getting it except the few here.

dude this game is expected on getting a mix of the BB and GG community players and a shoe-in for the anime fighter demographic and been hyped for awhile now. I'm personally getting this because the characters scream personality and the hud/stages are looking great along with the gameplay.

YES. ATLUS CONFIRMED DUAL AUDIO. Day 1 purchase for sure now. This game finally pushed me to start playing Persona 4 and I am loving the game and characters so far. Hype levels rising!

Hype, should be a solid game for fighting and non-fighting game fans. Seems easy to get into and do simple combos, but there is plenty of depth with the Persona mechanics. Just like P4, the look is very slick and stylized. I've heard the non-main fighting part of the game is pretty beefy and well done too.

Sadly we didnt get even a small balance tweak (I think we didnt, it would have been nice to do small touch ups to this [not take away or add anything really] and then just update the arcade version), and that brand new character is pretty lame, I wanted Funky Student, Koromaru, and some other Atlus RPG/Persona 1-2 characters as bonuses. Too bad they didnt have fun with it. I'll probably be picking it up this fall though.

@4 Fanatiq mentioned before that a lot of people who enjoyed GG but absolutely hated BB are excited about this game because it seems to play closer to the craziness of GG rather than like boring BB. The game itself is already extremely popular in Japan, I have little doubt it will have some popularity too in the US.

I am hyped, one of my fav fighting game developers making one of my favorite RPGs into a fighting game...I am really hyped, my only sadness is they announced that there will be more characters....if they add them as paid dlc....ima be pissed. And the voices for more than half the cast....
