Wednesday Night Fights to host Persona 4: Arena starting August 8th

Wednesday Night Fights to host Persona 4: Arena starting August 8th Starting at next week's Wednesday Night Fights, they will be running Persona 4: Arena tournaments. They will first have an exhibition series of matches then stream both the Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012 and the Persona 4: Arena tournaments.

Same rules as in most tournaments with the addition of No Unlimited Characters.

Shortly after the post was made on their website a message from their Twitter stated that even though they are running P4A they will not be dropping any games from WNF.

To clear up some confusion, none of our #WNFAE titles are being dropped. P4A will make its debut just like all new released FGs we showcase.

Via Level|Up's official website and their Twitter.

Great news, but does anyone know why WNF has like a ton of games and The Runback still only has two? I figured it would make more sense to split the games between the two nights (since the only show 2 games on stream during the avg session)?

Super Arcade and LevelUp probably have their reasons why, but I was curious.

Current Lineup-
WNF: SFxTK , AE, and VF5:FS
TRB: KOF, UMVC3, and SG

We've always showcased new fighting games on Weds Night Fights and will continue that tradition with Persona 4 Arena.

Alex, I understand you are still running tournaments for all the titles, but will Persona replace Virtua Fighter's stream time slot for the moment?

@13
You're naive and delusional if you think this will outlive similar games and survive among all of the current and upcoming ones.

Wait for the the initial "shiny new game" hype to dry out and your only competition will be the 5 people still playing online.

Shame for VF. I feel the community has really rallied behind it and out of the left field the next derp anime fighter comes
