Dead or Alive 5: Training and mission mode screen shots - Jann Lee, Lisa images

Along with the new trailer, the Dead or Alive 5 team also put out a brand new set of screen shots, which offer a look at the game's training and mission modes, along with some additional stills of the new wrestling stage and Jann Lee and Lisa.

They noted that Dead or Alive 5's improved training mode lets you control more features than any previous entry in the series. Options include: Changing the AI opponent's behavior, such as input recording, recovery time from staggers, etc. Players will also have the ability to practice and improve their skills in various scenarios. There are optional missions during story mode battles to teach players everything from basic controls to advanced fighting techniques.

Glad to see a mission mode coming. Fighting games aren't always about the online play. Single Player is huge too. The screens look amazing though.

I wish people would stop hoping for some fighting game to head to EVO, and just hope the game is good for them.

I'm getting to a point where I rather a game not go to EVO. The association comes with FGC baggage.

So far so good. I really love this series, and the new Team Ninja haven't dissapointed me yet with any of the changes of DOA5. In fact, i appreciate all the hard work they are putting on this, and all the changes are welcome!

Sarah keeps her VF voice, where she only has an English speaking voice actress. So to retain authenticity, no Japanese voiceover.

This game is a buy. DOA5 impressed me, guess I have VF:FS to occupy my 3d fighter fix until game is released

Bass Body looks odd to me, like maybe his arms are a bit too short?? Anyway I love Tina's face she looks so pretty :-) and Jann looks hot too.

on one hand DOA 5 is a fighting game and it has boobs and on the other hand tekken tag 2 is a fighting game and it also has boobs so in end i am torn but i know this they will both be good

I really adore Leifang's dress, it's pretty much pure, undiluted sexyawesome. It's a true crying shame a woman wearing it for real would be branded as a slut because our society is so madonna/whore.
