Street Fighter X Tekken moves, King of Fighters 13 guide added

SFilp and DreamKing23 have been making steady progress behind the scenes updating the guides here on EventHubs.com for Street Fighter X Tekken and King of Fighters 13, the latter of which is probably a surprise announcement for many of you, but we'll get to that in a bit.

Basic Street Fighter X Tekken move listings for Dhalsim, Hugo, Ibuki, Poison, Rolento, Zangief, Hwoarang, Julia, Kazuya, King, Kuma, Lili, Raven, Steve and Yoshimitsu have all been added into the site. Keep in mind these are based on pre-release versions of the game, and it's possible these listings could change with time.

Also, we've launched a brand new King of Fighters 13 section with basic moves. Yes, this means we're going to start covering non-Capcom fighting games here on the front page — in the very near future.

If you don't want to see news about these games, and you want EventHubs to stay as is — you'll have that ability — because we're going to launch a news filtering option that lets you customize the home page to your own personal preferences. You'll be able to cherry pick whatever flavors of fighting game titles you're interested in.

We're putting the finishing touches on this feature right now, along with a few extra bells and whistles, and we will have a front page announcement about this VERY soon.

Also, a number of new, and often requested, features will be added into the site — further down the road. Some of the things have never been done in the fighting game community before, and they'll offer new opportunities and abilities we'll discuss in complete detail when they're ready.

We have a lot of exciting plans for EventHubs, and to put it simply, you ain't seen nothing yet. Stay tuned.

The main thing that made us decide to expand to other games was having enough people on staff to offer reasonable coverage. We've got a really strong team of people now.

Loved reading this. Eventhubs will definitely be my one stop shop for news. My two favorite fighters(KOF and MK)will be getting some love and if it is anything like the amount of SF that comes in then I know this is a good thing.

This is a GREAT day for all of us! Catalyst, and to the rest of the Event Hubs staff, thank you so much for doing this... I was so tired of the politics in Shoryuken... the only reason I went there is because you guys were capcom only.. and you finally now are going to cover all fighting games. This is a wonderful weekend for all of us! KOF series, Mortal Kombat, Blazblue Series, Tekken Series, and Soul Calibur series... this is wonderful for the community... I just hope that all of us on Eventhubs will always be respectful to each other... something that SRK does not have. And I don't want this place to be another SRK community, i want this to be the Event Hubs ive always loved.

This sounds like great news all around. I look forward to seeing these plans come to fruition. Anyone complaining about coverage for non-capcom games is ridiculous, because you'll be able to filter those articles out. You likely won't though. Instead, you will leave hater comments on them.

i love this site for the continuous updates, being them important or some miscellaneous like a vid, and the amount of coverage, and i always wanted to find a site quite like it for other fighter.

Im a Tekken fan, but Tekkenzaibatsu, although great for learning and covering the games well, for me did not do a great job covering the community as EH does. Or maybe its just the site format. so i ended up knowing "better" SF community then Tekken community. This is welcome news.

Be it whatever games, the only thing that worries me is the new layout, if you keep the same blog posts/page it will be nice, but i think i would prefer a bigger page/option to do so, because with so much coverage, even if little for other games, pages will move even faster, and thats a downer.

Interesting. My favourite fighting games are non Capcom, but I hope Eventhubs doesn't spread itself too thin because there will be a lot of games in the future. Maybe Eventhubs should specialize in just 2D Fighters. The filter option is a good idea. I hope that you guys moderate the "my game is better than your game" BS trolling that people on here will do.

Little by little the community is getting closer together.. Whether they want to or not. I honestly feel that if you feel your fighting franchise is superior... Just you knowing it alone should be enough because posting it almost everyday just seems a little silly at times. Catalyst, do you think it would be possible to host some form of an eventhubs tournament where the members stating this is franchise is better than another face each other to not only somewhat prove if SF is better than Tekken, SNK, Marvel, Tatsunoko, etc... And also to show who are the better players.
