Excellent Hakan play. I am putting this in my play book.
Very Good by Infiltration. Like the use of the wake up oil dive and with proper timing even a player holding down back or down would get caught since waking up from a knockdown puts the player as standing for a frame before returning to the crouching position. Players that don't know this usually scratch their heads wondering if they did something wrong. A well timed back dash or basic reversal would easily deal with such an exploit, just don't use grabs :P.
Love me some Hakan matches, My character got some decent amount of buffs and can finally stand up to the rest of the cast without worrying about oil from the get-go.
wow hakan is now cheap good to see they balanced the game more
HAKAN IS GARBAGE , BEATING ON NO NAMES WHO CAN'T SEEM TO FOLLOW HIS MONOTONOUS TACTICS DON'T MEAN MUCH TO ME...
i think this match has been pretty fair since super
Wow, that Balrog had to of been fuming! Prolly wasn't expecting a beatdown from Hakan like that!
Damn it's rare to see Hakan in action nowadays (at least for me anyway), so when it shows, it's refreshing to see. I could certainly use some practice against him, hell I don't ever fight the guy, lol.
Props to Infiltration repping Hakan though, good stuff.
@SilentSoul (#7): Actually... if I'm not mistaken, the frames it takes for a character to crouch is now three frames, which is why this type of tactic is seen much more now since it's easier to exploit... I think this setup is just as dangerous when it comes to Cammy's Hooligan grab thing and Guy's somersault grab thing, the difference is just that their's take a bit longer so you have more time to react with a backdash, reversal, or crouching normal... making those a bit less of a guessing game. Yes, a crouching normal should work since they make you crouch instantly. Or... maybe they take 1 frame, I'm not completely sure.
Makes me wanna try Hakan again. I'd feel bad trying again for the sole reasons that he's, well, playable now, though.
