Capcom has confirmed on its official website that Team Mad Catz consisting of Daigo, Tokido and Mago along with Team International of TH|Poongko, TWF|Gamerbee and WW|Ryan Hart have been invited to participate in the Capcom Spring National Tournament happening this March.Ryan Hart is only good in Europe and nowhere else.
Why is team Madcatz getting a free pass when the Nemo/Bonchan/Kazunoko team is stronger man by man and they had to be eliminated in qualifiers?
For the international team, they should have invited Latif over Ryan Hart or Gamerbee. If it's going to be 'worldwide' and not just Japan only there needs to be a Team USA too.
@5 Poongko, Gamerbee and Latif would be sick! just like half of the teams that already got eliminated-BUT SICK NONETHELESS! i also think Latif over Ryan wouldve been cool but Latif over Gamerbee would be kind of silly cause Ryan would still be there. no offense to Ryan Hart, i just think Latif would fair better with his cheap ass character.
What is an internatiomal team doing in a national tournament?
@#13 It's a national tournament, it doens't mean international players are excluded. You do see PR Balrog participating in Local, Regionals, and National tourneys all over the place. For instance, they call it Canada Cup, it could imply national, unless they'd state it as International Canada Cup.
Ryan Hart is doing so well for himself. and its making all his jealous envious haters sick to their stomachs rofl. latif would be great but after he declined their sbo invitation due to visa complications(i think,) i doubt they will be inviting him anytime soon.
This is bullsh*t. Who the **** are they that they don't have to qualify like the rest. Nemo, Bonchan, Kazunoko didn't get a free pass and they're probably just as good if not better than these guys.
And if you invite 1 player from Europe, why not Alioune? Ryan is not bad, but Alioune is the strongest here, he should represent our continent.
You retards arguing over the fact that they should've brought Alioune instead probably suffer from Alzheimer. Ryan Hart is a part of a MCZ sponsored team and he has some fame in Japan. Where as Alioune is just a Hikikomori.
And do you think Japan's nationals would be complete without the likes of Daigo?
The stupidity of FGC constantly manages to astonish me.
@ SabishiiRyuu
The likes of Daigo? Make them qualify. If they're good enough they'll make it, if not, then they don't. There is no reason to give them a free pass. Especially Mago & Tokido are nothing special compared to players like Kazunoko & Bonchan.
And Ryan ain't a bad player, but I doubt if he's top 5 in Europe at the moment. By the way, I don't care about fame.
@ Sabishii good point. the FGC is filled with jealous scrubs who seem brainless at times. ryan hart has formed a strong rapport with international players, organizers and communities. he has shown hes willingness to travel all over the world in the name of SF4, even if there isnt a major. hes not just a player, he is bringing relationships between the west and east a lot closer. he is doing a lot behind the scenes you guys are not aware of. hes also a madcatz sponsored player.
japan are just showing their appreciation to his dedication for the community and people are getting butt hurt? wow stay free
@ fooly
Stay free? Free like Ryan Hart who refused to shake Louffy's hand when he got bodied.

Who's free now?
@25 ahhwhahahahahhahahahahhaa
stay free europe, stay free samurai
it was pretty messed up when ryan didnt shake luffys hand just for losing no need to be sponsored if he isnt gonna be profesional about his wins/losses makes the company look really bad.
@32: No he actually meant Bonchan.
Bonchan used to almost exclusively team up with Daigo and Chuuashi Zesshou TKD, while Nemo was ALWAYS a teammate of Tokido and Mago(probably the strongest team in vanilla.) After Nemo quit playing due to marriage and MCZ sponsored the big three, those teams got messed up and now Nemo's teaming up with Bonchan.
RF has always been teaming up with Kindevu as they are close friends.
you guys are mad at nothing lol.
J wong doesn't have to qualify other sponsored tournament too. Don't be mad when they don't invite American players.
Now you are mad at ryan, daigo, mago getting into a sponsored tournament without qualify.
madcatz sponsor everybody
when you sponsor crap like ryan hart and kayane you know you're just throwing money at people without any real consideration
Im glad Capcom Japanese National Tournament have invited players from abroad. Although i would have picked up a different line up for the International team. Poongko(Korea), Wolfkrone(USA), Alione(Europe) would be best combination imho.
@38
alioune doesn't travel outside of france because he's a mommy's boy
plus he plays pad and the japanese don't accomodate for pad players
"Ryan Hart is only good in Europe and nowhere else."
Except Ryan Hart has beaten Daigo everytime they have met in tournament.
it's the same reason why tournaments invite players like boxer for sc2 matches. he was a big name bw star who brought in tons of viewers.
LOL @ people complaining about "tier whores" all of a sudden are d-riding Kazunoko.
Kazunoko is the biggest fraud there is

The competition will be shaking in their boots at the news that Ryan Hart is coming!
