I just noticed, Nina's voice actress is the same one who did Makoto "The major" Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell S.A.C.
OMG people are complaining again? Every single time complaining about the dumbest things. The voices are top noth, absolutely nothing wrong and to those who always think the Japanese voices are miraculously better i think the English have a lot more character
SHOOOORRRYYUUUKKEEENNNN
Haha funny, text message tone, bosh ha
Little disappointed that even the native Japanese characters on the tekken side will be getting english VAs.
I was hopefuly when Abel was speaking French that we'd get a game that actually accurately represented the character's native language, but oh well.
Should be interesting when TxSF comes out. Hopefully Harada will give us a Russian Zangief, Spanish Vega, etc.
@ #7 : the announcer's voice is digitally altered to sound more like the 90's Q-Sound SSF II sounds if not mistaken. So u cant really complain about the announcer since it is a computerized version of whoever is talking. Everything about this game is about 90's nostalgia, more so than even the SF IV series. Even the way the colors are give it more of a 90's vibe, not to mention the stage designs- Dino Crisis for example, plus the stage with the old billboards and graffiti all give a 90's feel. If you consider how the Street Fighter franchise became so huge beginning with the early 90's SF II and that Tekken was born in the mid 90's it all makes a lot of sense. Heck even the sound of the gems activating reminds me of many gem-like games of that era and that's what i love about this game and about Capcom.
In a general note targeting the critics of this game, im betting TXSF will have some of the classic SF II stages recreated in full, high detailed 3D and then people will say again "oh look Harada knows how to please fans, not like Capcom". I say that would be BS. Recreating something old known that it will please everyone is the safe way to do things. Capcom took risks with SFXT imo and i appreciate them even more for it.
Only complain i would have is for the stage count, it seems there will be less stages than even in SSF IV which is a bit of a let down.
#14 - i hear you on this one, unfortunately its something all companies seem to neglect. Hopefully when SF V comes out they will make an effort cause i remember it was one of frequent discussion topics in the Unity forums and if not mistaken Seth or Ono said back then that it was something that they would consider in the future
First of all, Heihachi and Kazuya in english is just plain wrong.
Second of all, watch this while Transcribe Audio is on.
Hah the English VA for Heihachi sounds like Bad Rap from Extreme Dinosaurs. English Kazuya soundslike abad dude from Yakuza, pretty sick, as for the announcer could be worse, but nothing can top CvS 2's epic announcer.
Isnt Hwoarang pronounced "Hwah-Rong"? I noticed in this game the announcer says "How wrong" when you choose him....that would be a terrible slip up.
Dat Ryu.
Is he still voiced by Kyle Hebert? He sounds terrible.
we need the Capcom Vs. SNK 2 announcer "Just look at the expression on their faces!"
I can't lol: "SHORYUKEN, SHOOOOOOOOORYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKENNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!" Can't wait for this game
@14 You're disappointed the Yekken side has English voice actors, completely ignoring the fact that you can change the language. You already know this. So stop complaining.
@38
i agree, cvs2 announcer was one of the best if not the best. also liked sf alpha 3.
@All
look, i love sf and all but the one thing i hate the most about the game is it gets extremely cheezy at times. one thing to be funny cheezy, another to try and be seriouse and cheezy ya know :/
If you get hit by that Shoryuken, you're going to have enough time to think about everything you have done wrong in the match up to that point. Dude must be putting you in orbit.
Also, NOTHING will ever beat the CvS2 Voice Clips.
This is the most hilarious thing I've seen all day. "SHORYUKEEEEEEN!"
" I CAN'T LOOoooooseeeee!"
"This is my serious face."
for about 3 seconds, i thought it was a porn..
hwoarang sounds so panzy >.>"
SONIC, BOOB!
not all japanese voices are the best for example..cammy
oh man the english voices are horrible 'cause they're in english >_< and english is bad and the japanese are perfect at everything. Hurfadurfadurp durp durp
