Desk is Oro IRL. Evo will only let him compete with one hand but then Desk signs both up and then ends up in the Grand Finals against himself.

At first I was thinking, that's retarded but you have a point. This is incredible skill that would impress any pro. But it just seems like 80% of vids are just to show off and get put up. It'd be cool if he took his execution skills to a tournament. He wouldn't have to say he's Desk. He could reveal himself if he won or got top 8.

He doesn't talk much but I know he has an ego, everytime someone in the community finds new tech he makes a video on it basically making it better and I know this is an answer to xian playing with one hand. Either way this man is very talented.

LOL at all the people who think Desk will make it out of pools let alone GF. he probably appreciates the support/nut hugging, but if anyone here seriously expects Desk to do well at Evo is gonna get disappointed. it takes more then sitting in the comfort of your home with all the time in the world to perform one handed combos to get anywhere near top 40 at the biggest fighting game tourny in the world. this isnt hate btw...this is fact. the day Desk makes it past top 40 will be the day i grow tits.

Next week from Desk "Playing SF3 OE with Feet" then the week after that "Desk's Hands Vs. Desk's Feet: SF3 OE match".

Theres a lot of hating going on but its justified. What has this guy done in tournaments? Anyone can do difficult combos with enough practice but can they land those combos against skilled human opponents? Please prove me wrong by providing links to footage of his matches against high level REAL LIFE people.

lets be real guys.... he's on a different level... that's not to say he's gona win Evo (if he does attend) or any other major he enters sometime soon coz we all know that takes match experience against top players as well as tournament experience. But his chances are increased coz of his ability to make the most difficult links look easy. Where even some pro's/sponsored drop combos when the pressure is on, if he learns to keep composure the deadliest combos we watch from him on those youtube vidz we might just see them made into Evo moments. That and he might actually be a counter pick Genius. Everyone just has to wait and see

Regardless of how well he will do in tournament or not, you have to appreciate the skills this person has, If I have the execution of this guy, I would have spent the majority of the time just in the training room enjoying the long combos and I would be satisfied. If I were to vs a human player, my mindset whould be like: dude just let me land that damn combo already and stop running lol.

This whole thing is scripted. You can tell because every round always ends the same way (i.e. S S S). These aren't real matches and there is no spontaneity. It's like playing the piano; all muscle-memory. Desk is a fraud.

what does Noah have to do with anything? he played an entirely different game which IMHO does not take HALF as much skill as any other fighter. did your Noah make it out of pools for SSF4AE? did he make top 40 in AE? Desk is good at combos...but lets be reasonable, thats all hes got. hes said it himself...he cant play against human opponents because he doesnt do well in other departments of fighters (footsies, OS, mind games, etc...). his execution? A++++...everything else? meh.

Look at what happened with the fraud known as Sako. Everyone was so impressed with his combos but what happened when he came to American? He couldn't even make top 8 lmao.

Humm...nice tricks. Still want to see how he does in real actual combat with tournament pressure. If anyone reads Berserk. Guts refered to the character silat (arabian ninja guy with throwing knives) with nice stunts as a"street performer" and that guy was good at tricks, but got his ass kicked in an actual fight. I am nowhere near good,but when I see how he does against the likes of poongko, Daigo, tokido,fuudo, mago,etc. then I will shut up.

I also think that a lot of people would be able to do that after a long practice. Is that ONLY a genetically determined or god-given talent that you either have or you don't? I don't think so!

But what's the point? That doesn't take anything away from Desk's performance. He is inventive, talented AND puts in a lot of work. That's what I like about him.

Will he place top 8 in EVO? Who knows, and with the level of competition he might not even get out of pools, but I know this: It's gonna be awesome to watch, regardless of whether he wins or not.

Can you imagine the hype if he has to face Daigo or Fuudo, or Justin Wong and he is able to at least unleash one insane combo against them?

I wish him the best for EVO this year, maybe this will be his opportunity to silence his critics.

Yes ANYONE can do it with practice. Combos are the easiest aspect of fighting games. Its being able to out play another person thats the hardest.
