For serious, come on guys, there's no way Akuma wasn't on the list from day 1. I don't even like him, and it'd be weird to have a crossover without him.
He was announced late in MvC3's run-up, as well.
He's just not the top you announce early with the likes of Ryu. His character archetype runs against it.

looks like someone is on the same page with the bryan fury idea.
The last stage should be EVO! Have characters battle on the event stage with the crowd cheering in the background and a few big screens on the left right and middle that switch between in game action and crowd reaction to the battle. There "oh-no" I just did your job for you

They add nothing to the core experience.
People usually end up just playing on one or 2 good ones.
More variety in what? Something that people dont care about in the long run?
Why would someone get bored of a fighting game JUST because it only has 2-3 stages?
As long as they are vibrant/designed well and doesnt interrupt the flow of the fighting.
I say put in more characters or a story/adventure mode instead.
I think his 'Please play Paul in this time' is his way of saying "Roger is not in the game, but please play Paul instead since you like them both!"
A pity, as Roger Jr. is my main in Tekken 6 :( Though I honestly did not expect him to appear, as the character is much less popular and iconic than Kuma, and I didn't think they would make use of many of the beast characters for this game to begin with.
yea this game needs more than one more stage. i only counted 6 or 7 so far. i know some of the stages have more than one area but it still needs more variety. i dont want 2 see mach zangif 20 times in one hour

Yeah, they need a boss stage. And since February is when they should show the bosses, I take it that's what it is. I wonder how much time it actually takes to make stages like these... Ugh, At least they have multiple floors, so they'll have more dramatic differences between rounds than, say, Crumbling Laboratory in SF4.
a good idea for a stage is the Australian stage from SF Alpha 2. That's the one with the tall grass and the lightning in the background. check it out

or a combination of Moonlit Wilderness from Tekken5, ESPECIALLY a tune that comes 98.9% close to Moonlit Wilderness. That song is pure bliss for a fighting game. EVERYTHING about Moonlit Wilderness was no, IS perfect to the core, except it didn't have any grass that covered the players feet, nor did it have lightning. but it's GOTTA have that large moon and a killin tech tune. check it out

Moving on...Then, they need to give us Birdie's filthy truck stop restroom stage. It would include occasional drunks and junkies staggering in, making their way to the urinal, glancing back at the fight as they take a pi$$. There would also be some stupid barefoot guy slipping and falling on pee, (as a tribute to Britney Spears.) check it out
