Is this game's online mode like Street Fighter 4 where I get pwned at every match. And everybody has years of experience, but I, recently just started, can't link crap. Because if it is... I'm still going to buy it.

There's a lot of new players online so no...you won't get pwned at every match. You'll come by some good players sometimes...but, most of the time, you'll play against relatively new players.

#2 yea im pretty sure everybody is going run over you if you dont practice for a atleast a week or 2. base on what i hear you either sink or swim. i would buy it myself but i get body enough online on my pc emulator.

yeah, there are some good players out there, but the game does a good job of pairing you up with newer players when you first start out. only problem for me with this game is that it has been extremely buggy for me. not sure if its something with my system or whatever, but sometimes this game can be a hassle. regardless, if you're looking to get into a new game, this should be it.

@5: If you're just picking up 3S, it'll take more than a couple of weeks of practice to hang with people (like myself) who've been playing the game since it's release back in 98-99 lol. But It's never too late to get into it.

@7 People have been over this a million times. If they rebalanced it people would have b****ed that It was rebalanced and therefore NOT 3s. And they are kind of right. Would a rebalance be interesting? yes. Is it a good idea? no. Honestly you should still buy it. Its a great game with great characters. I doubt you're a super high level hardcore player anyway, so the games balance wont even matter.

Commenters and the news wouldn't shut up about it for months prior to release, and within a week, they completely forgot about it.
What happened? Did they all run afoul of the -un brigades?

the only reason 3s lingered around as long as it did is because capcom didn't make a new sf game for 10 years

3s l33tists have mostly gone away now, crying at how bad 3SO turned out.

Any if you go to best sellers in the PSN store, 3S is there. It's also been there since release.

I played the game on ggpo, one some matches but my Elena got ran over most of the time. I practiced for a month cuz my ps3 got the red light, still got bodied by dudes playing the game for years. Got 3soe, still got lran over. Got tires of getting ran over, and went back to what I know best, my juri in ssf4, and kof. I don't hate 3S, it's fun to play, but I also don't feel like getting ran over every match either. I'm way too far behind to catch up with the vets. Props to them for sticking with the game for so long though.
