I hope someone like Fubarduck does a mini tutorial on how to navigate and pay for the event like he did for SBO.
@taka89ma_fg on Twitter did give a simply guide on how to navigate NicoNico and pay for something like this. Might want to tweet him or something.
Possibly 3 Sagat players though. I wish they'd give the slot to Topanga regulars like Neurosis, Itabashi for variety but hey I'm, not complaining.. I can't wait to see how it'll go!
Love that Tokido muddAface pose, very entertaining. What gets me is Daigo promo, since if each player choose the intro as to best represent their individual fighting philosophy (Tokido mean face, Mago cocky attitude, Momochi Ninja heritage, etc.). The what does Daigo Umehara The Beast "smiling" means? It is terrifying in a way actually, because a smiling beast is a dangerous one, since we all KNOW that Daigo doesn't smile at all when he plays fighting games (except during MvC3 at EVO2011).
With what little articles there are too read today, I'm sure Eventhubs could have participated in the blackout and not sweet too much over it.
And now I'm sitting here wondering why they didn't because they may be directly affected by the legislation if it passes.
Mago and Tokido...Good Actors!
Magos like BRING IT!
Tokido is like Im a merder u!
@15 I thought the same the smile to hide is insatiable lust for blood. Kaz also looks like an evil genius reminds me of light yagami.
You have to pay $45 to watch this event. No joke.
The ticket is 500 yen a show, and 3500 yen for all 12 shows running between 1/20-2/26 with time shift (meaning you can still watch it after the live broadcast ends.)
Before people start complaining about how expensive or how hard it is to buy a ticket outside of Japan or they don't broadcast in English etc... this stream is not to make money off people out side of Japan in the first place. So don't complain if you decide to buy the tickets.
Here's the link to buy the tickets in case someone really feels like going through all the trouble:

this should be really good!..just wish it was free tho XP
@#24
Well, this is not a acommunity event where you can go and spectate(where you have to pay just for that btw)
It's a series of matches available ONLY by streaming that take course over a month.
And you can pay to see the matches you want if you do not want the whole package.
It'd be nice if it was free, but saying it's unreasonable or anything is stupid.
I'm not going to pay not because I'm cheap, but I don't feel like having a heart attack after each match. I'm not paying to die here.
daigo's smile is kind of disturbing.... he looks like the guy in that "the vanishing" movie.....
this video needs more cheese, its like watching some corny anime BS where everyone tries to look badass and fails
I'd be hype but I don't support ppv streams on the internet out of principle so I hope the whole thing bombs or gets put on youtube.
I am using google translate and I'm still having trouble finding the payments page. Can someone who has purchased tickets already or understands Japanese help a dude out?
@39
Here's Ryan Harvey's guide for purchasing Nico Nico points:
Floe beat Kazunoko during Canada Cup 2011 international 5 v 5.
After watching a few time, Daigo smile is indeed vey disturbing, there is that "killing intent" behind that smiling face. If everyone's calling Daigo the livg embodiment of Ryu, I feel a lot "satsui no hado" in that intro. Chilling stuff.
A bit curious, here.
Why was it that when Mago's pose was up, which was hilarious by the way, it was a clip of him using Fei? Will he be using Fei in the tournament, or his Sagat?
Am I the only one that thought this trailer was proper cringe? super cheesey poses.
@52- yes, you may be the only one. They're not politicians dude, they're video game players- thus they have FUN with poses. If you lighten up, you might have some too.
Can someone tell SPOOKY to partner up with these guys and stream it here? I'd pay but the jp system doesn't seem to accept my payment.
nice trailer
