This looks NICE! Of course as development progresses, graphically it was expected to mature, but I'm really liking the art style now. Also lol @ how hype the game seems w/o there being any focus on the gem system. That said, I'm still open to the possibilities it'll offer.

I am not sure how I feel about the music used in the trailer, but the story plot does have me a bit intrigued.

yea im not buying this game on the first month unless 2 out three characters on your list make the cut.
i am trying to be hype but all these characters arent reveals everyone knew they were in so months go by and this is kinda like fake hype to me i love capcom games as much as anyone i won fighting evolution for the love of god but all the trolling has payed its toll on me gems didnt even bother me one bit but for the great characters these universes have they could pick so many better characers uuhhh... i am trying so hard to love this game

i am feeling pretty good about the tekken side of things but so far capcom has been a let down for me but im so confused with these leak lists then thses alt costume swaps
I absolutely love Capcom and i know this game will be awesome but i feel some of the moves behind this game are a bit strange.
1. The Vita/Sony exclusives kinda bother me. Cole would have been a PERFECT choice for UMVC3 in the same way that Kratos was perfect for MK. Yet in a SFXT game him as well as the Sony mascots feel silly to be included.
2. Pacman and Megaman might not represent the SF and Tekken universes but i can see how they could be fun additions. Yet if they make em Vita exclusives it would be disappointing for me.
3. Most SF characters where already in the SF IV games. The classic World Warriors make perfect sense since they cant be excluded from this particular VS game IMO but i feel that the only "new" characters like Rolento, Poison and Hugo where already designed during the SSF IV/ SSF IV A.E. periods and where deliberately left out of those games so they could make an appearance in SF X T. No harm in this i suppose, but i wish we would see more characters from the SF side in this game which where not in the IV series. I think its safe to think that the likes of Honda and Blanka will be in it right? And we know Bison is in which is pretty much all classic world warriors minus T.Hawk, Fei Long and Dee Jay which are no real losses to me.
4. Capcom and Ono have taken a deliberate comic approach to much of the game's character design and while i think its fun it could be a bit annoying at some extend.
In the end though i am super excited about this game as with any new SF game! Especially since many of the seasoned SF pros who have played it already said its the best SF game ever! I jst hope it doesn't get lost under all those layers of new modes, simplified mechanics for beginners, Sony mascots and comedic art design
I want to also make a note of something.
The Japanese Special Edition of the game seems nearly identical to the collector's edition for SSF IV which was Japan only and i own it.
In that edition it also have a small booklet with character artwork : basically the official artwork of each character in the game and every artwork took a whole page.
So i'm thinking, they already announced that the similar-sounding character artbook for SF X T (japan) is 44 pages...Could this mean we can expect 44 characters for the console versions of SF X T?
So, how much you want to bet the "evil" forms of characters like Ryu and Jin are tied to gems somehow. being a "core" element to gameplay and all, it would make sense...
Is it just be or are the colors in this new gameplay trailer darker, more moody and less colorful as in the previous versions? God i hope Capcom made the changes in colors cause everything looked so much better in the new one!

If the leaked list is to be believed, there will be 29 new characters in SFxT. That's still a larger increase of new characters compared to any version of SF4; although almost all the effort went into the Tekken side.

Hell yea now things are looking even better now! thats pretty much what ive been complaining about show jin and balrog and they finally did. come on people they did this with rufus and zangief where they made us wait to confirm they were partners. now same is gonna happen with xiao/jin and juri/bison. honestly dont care for vega but i have to admit it is nice to see the 4 bosses of SF WW in this game.So happy to see balrog in he looks bad ass!
Did you notice that in the gameplay footage there were no gems at all being used during the matches? I mean, there are the holes but no the gems... A new mode without gems confirmed but the great troll Ono-san? I hope this is the good news we all are waiting for!!!!!
About that leaked list...
Remaining characters for SF are Blanka, Dudley, Elena, Cody, Guy and Akuma... But I can't make 3 pairs of them that makes sense... Akuma can't be in pair with any of them and I REALLY doubt they will force him with anyone from those 5. Of course you could pair him with Ogre but that would leave one character from SF without a partner. So... is there someone still missing?

I believe that some time ago someone said (one of the top SF players I believe) that this is the first game in which Chun-Li's Rapid Kick isn't done by mashing buttons. I'm quite sure there was something like that. Might have been changed from the last time I checked.

....but then again they can change those to motions too. Except Honda/Blanka - they are usual charge characters, so maybe that is why not.
@#182 I meant the un-announced 5 from SF side: Cody, Guy, Elena, Dudley and Blanka. 24 on SF side with Akuma not pairable with anyone other than Ogre from Tekken's side (they have 25 on that list btw). That just leaves 23 characters from SF side to pair with each other which means, unless there is 1 more character we don't know about, someone will be left alone. I think it's either Blanka to be paired with Honda (I believe they would make a good pair looking at how they have similar basic playstyle) or they will leave Akuma alone.
Also, something I've been thinking is that I wish they would've been way more ambitious w/ the roster!! Since it's not canon there could've been characters added like Dan's father, Go Hibiki ;] and Yoshi's rival, Kunimitsu :D are PERFECT examples! I think Capcom's just being f***in' lazy :P Hopefully this will be fixed for TK x SF <3

i don't know much about TEKKEN, but in Street Fighter History; Evil Ryu is more or less at the same level of Bison (Akuma is above both; I´m not talking about shin Akuma or Oni) so I put Devil Jin in the same category of Evil Ryu.
remember that Bison lost a lot of his power when he change body from Alpha to ST2. but I belive he is strong enough to fight evil ryu and so Devil Jim, I don´t belive Jim will have it that easy. For that they are rival in the game (sorry for my english)

I like the SF side of the roster (especially Hugo), but I'm not really a big Tekken fan. I'm also kinda iffy on some of the gameplay decisions (KO after only one character? really?) though. I guess I'll hold until it actually comes out.

I am excited for the game as always and I am not trying to take anything from anyone but it seems that Juri really stands a chance against people due to that eye of hers. So without it.. Is it still the same story?
Also the trailer showing Jin being attacked by two people while he fights there alone leads me to believe that regardless what your opinion of the Tekken characters are... You should not take them lightly.. Especially Jin. Heihachi gets his props but not Kazuya or Jin? lol As unkillable as that old man is.. Jin has kicked his but on two to three separate occassions.
The more I think about it now.. Unless for some reason the creators or so were to come to a mutual answer to which side is superior or if some alternate universe exist where video game characters are real while we are fake.. and it merged with our world and they settled the score once and for all... I do not think we will ever have a true answer for who is the best fighter.
They say akuma and ogre may be teamin up. I think they the final boss. It would be crazy u beat them in round one and they transform to true ogre and oni. I would put the control down if they did lol

Harada's answer was " In a real life fight, I doubt that the cast of Tekken could compete with the cast of Street fighter, who has fought the likes of the X-Men as equals. Like if every fighting game creator were to say that street fighter characters are far superior then I would take it a bit more seriously but just from Harada saying it alone..
