Characters that we knew were going to be in the game had to be confirmed somehow.

Lets at least wait until all the characters are confirmed before complaining about unsurprising reveals.

At least Capcom got the translation right for Jin when he says
"Kyoufu wo oshiete yarou". In Tekken 5 and 6 (possibly Tag Tournament 2) The official translation was "Fear the wrath of God", but it's actually "I'll teach you the meaning of fear!"

Also, Capcom got the big four of Tekken! Amazing!

they are in this game trust me. would someone spend CGI money and time on characters that arent in the game, esecially when they play such a big roll in the trailer? besides L(lupkio) leaked them along time ago.

New Characters await in the shadows could mean that we may see a return of the actual secret character like Akuma was in SF2
Not like in SF4 were everyone knew he was in before the games release.... or it could just mean more to be unveieled

This looks NICE! Of course as development progresses, graphically it was expected to mature, but I'm really liking the art style now. Also lol @ how hype the game seems w/o there being any focus on the gem system. That said, I'm still open to the possibilities it'll offer.
