#also having 25 Tekken characters as opposed to SF's 24 doesn't make much sense...

O_O OMG you gotta be kidding me right now because out of all person he put ogre besides karin,sakura,r.mika,charlie,el fuerte,e.honda,ingrid,blanka,vega,balrog,makoto,cody,guy,dan,fei long,alex,dudley,urien,q,elena.remy,oro,necro and my two all favorites yun and yang...It is outrageous Capcom and Namco you definitely need a ranking called "F" for Failure...boy am I puzzled right now :O

And how can they not have Karin and sakura going against Lili and Asuka. It's like the sakura and Ibuki rival all over again. Guess I will probably never see Karin in an updated SF game again. Standing strong as a man should, but crying like a little girl deep inside. lol

How about Akuma and Evil Ryu? Team Satsui No Hado? That would probably be Akuma's partner, Gouken too I suppose but so far all the teams haven't had a mix off good and bad unless I missed something?

I think that list is missing a few more characters. Akuma's partner could be Urien. Ogre's partner could be Jinpachi. They could be saving Urien, Jinpachi, and a secret unknown Street Fighter character as a surprise for the last few reveals. Making it total 26 characters for both sides plus the 5 exclusive characters which totals 57 characters. Evil Ryu could be Akuma's partner, but that would be lame right lol.

But still good characters though still didnt give up my two chracters Yun and Yang so hope Capcom and Namco put them in. I'm crossing my fingers tight because they really need to be in this game.So Please Capcom and Namco,it is my one and only request"Please Mr Ono and Mr Harada put Yun and Yang in this game."Because they can be a great challenge for the for new challengers you'll reveal above today.Don't let your fans down,make it the greatest game for us to remember.:D XD

Well folks remember Capcom like to release the same game with balances and new characters 6 months later so don't be so sad street fighter x tekken :king of iron fist edition will have 8 new characters !!!

the capcom side of the roster has soooo much more pontential that it's kind of a shame to see what its lookin like. wayyy to many sf2/sf4 characters... where are some of the kickass sf3/alpha/ex characters??? and my main girl SAKURA =p!!! but if akuma is in than im gonna be using kazuya/akuma all day!!! oh yea and the tekken side looks good overall.

Oh btw I do want to see Karin and Sakura. It would make sense since asuka and lily are in it. But hey mvc3 has galactus and no silver surfer. It also has bad guys uniting but no m.bison. Smh

M Bison nor any of his cronies are in MvC3.

They clearly wanted a limiter on the SF characters...don't turn it into anything other than that.

Now that characters have been confirmed (Jin/Xiaoyu, Bison/Juri, Boxer/Claw, Paul/Law), seeing those images makes me wonder why they aren't bringing Seth in to team with Ogre (if he really is rumored). It would seem the perfect team considering their move list are an assimilation of other characters moves. Plus, Ogre needs to make a comeback. But, I am satisfied so far with this roster.

@50 That one is easy to answer; Juri killed him in her ending in SSF4 so bringing him back in SfxT wouldn't make much sense, SF story wise.

@51 It could have just been a copy of Seth, since he gets murdered/destroyed in a lot of endings. I'm holding out for a Seth/Gill team.

i dont see why anyone would even think to complain now. maybe its just me but i never even expected this game to have more than like 25 chars. this is crazy. shout out to capcom and namco for doing this for us man. no more mugen dream matches, in a few months i can really pit jin and ryu against each other. now that vega is confirmed im satisfied any other additions from here on out is a plus and just adds to my hype. *throws money at capcom*

To be fair, Bison was originally killed in the Alpha series. He came back. Then Akuma killed him in the second iterations. He constantly comes back, cheating death. Seth is technically a doll. I dnt see why he can't come back for this game.

Nice all i cared for was hearing jin a balrog being confirmed. too bad no feilong wouldve been nice to see him fighting marshall law but oh well. would like to see all the reveals before release cant wait!

They dnt HAVE to follow that format if they dnt want to (yes i've noticed that when it first came out). I'm pretty sure once the game comes out everyone is going to experiment with different characters anyway. Plus, it's just an idea to put switch it up and cross up the teams.

i like how during the entire development of this game, people have requested pretty much every character imaginable... except Deejay. Nobody cares about deejay, myself included (and i frickin main him in AE)

Hope that list isnt actually real. Whilsts it pretty good, its basically sf4 with 4 other characters. Whilst i understand they have put in 50% of the cast (tekken) into a 2d plane etc i really wanted a few more not as seen characters, alex, oro, karin, etc

People want to most random of characters.

Examples include Sodom and Ingrid.

Ingrid only appeared in console versions of Alpha 3 and Capcom fighting Jam. I do not see why anyone would desire such an obscure character.

And Sodom is a tacky character nobody used back then, and unlikely people would use him if he is in now.

Though I would like to see non-SF4 characters like Alex, Karin and Urien.

Shows the diverse taste of the fans in the fandom.

Yes the leak list says 24 Capcom 25 Tekken, this is nothing new based upon unequal character roster from both sides. TvC done the same thing with one company having more characters than the other. Technically UMvC 3 is the same way with Galactus as the extra Marvel character.

Guess we'll really see when February (some time in Feb.) hits

@73 She is in it, Her name is Ling Xiaoyu and it clearly says 24.Ling. But it's strange why he wrote Ling instead of Xiaoyu(that is name she is known for)

I wish for more alpha or 3S characters in the future.
I think Q would look cool as a 3D model.
also, I'm pretty pleased with the Tekken side.

The Tekken side is not hard to please, it's the Street Fighter side that has way more characters.

man i hate to say it but im really tired of akuma (i mean really tired). we had him for the following: MVC, CVS2, SF4, SF3, and just about any other game with ryu in it. dont get me wrong i think he is a cool character but mix it up a bit and put some other shoto instead(like gouki). i think we can go 1!!! game without him. but that is just mii.

by the way. i wish ppl quit saying its the full roster because its not. its just the character (L) has revealed so far.if you been keepping up to date with his twitter he's been revealing character at random times. he has yet to say that is all.

@80 Nope. In my opinion he should've been a no-brainer for this game since he's in almost every tekken game, and actually has a unique fighting style. I do suppose his style wouldn't translate well into 2D though/
