Previously M. Bison and Ling Xiaoyu were leaked for the game. Also, Ono has been hinting at Juri a lot on Twitter as of late.
lol I totally forgot this game releases in March...two months away. Still the hype is subpar at best.
They better reveal characters teased back in October and November. And I highly doubt the newest build will be at Fight Club. That's why Ono is so quick to let us know that the much anticipated reveals are next week. After getting fooled into thinking Last nights stream was going to show anything new. The last truly info we got was 4 months ago.

At this point, my hype for this game is effectively dead. Capon has spent the past 4 months defending their boneheaded gem system instead of gradually building hype with character reveals like they normally do for fighting games. At this point, I feel like giving Capcom a big middle finger. I don't think I even want this game anymore. I don't like gems and this game is basically out of sight, out of mind. Get ready for poor sales ...
It says the 6 reveals from before will be revealed on tuesday, along with 2 suprises, im guessing one will be jin, but I dont know if they are going to show actual gameplay of rufus, asuka, bison, and ling xiayou, or if there included in the 6 reveals or not.. either way 8 characters to be announced all on tuesday

of course they've yet to acknowledge the existence of that leaked image of bison/ling so they still consider bison a surprise, hurray...
Over the past few months, they've hinted at Juri, Boxer, Claw, Dictator, Ling, M.Bison, Paul, and Law. Asuka and Rufus were confirmed already. It still isn't quite clear who partnering with Ling, or Juri, so thats why people assume there will be at least 8 reveals.

juri will go with bison, pretty much a given
ling's partner is most likely jin, only other characters that would make sense for ling would be panda or alicia, both unlikely I think
i hope the later installments for this game include more obscure characters from the street fighter side- an updated Retsu, Geki wouldve been great.
it sounds about right that bison and juri go with the 6 reveals to make the 8, which makes me believe that this is probably it,jins basically tekkens main guy, an bisons pretty much up there with bein the main guy off street fighter, who else could be revealed after these two really, I cant see them adding anymore, i was sure they would save Jin for last, an thats probably what they are doing, so after all that we only got 3 characters that wernt in sf4!? wtf!?

Y do they always delay/lie about these reveal like really first they said at the end of December there will be a reveal then they change it to after new years making us think jan 1st or 2nd and I swear something was suppose to be revealed yesterday and today like really stop trolling ono but i guess i can wait 3 days by the way i don't really like how this game is heading right now.
I honestly believe they will not release all of the characters on 1/17/12. They'll release maybe 3 on each side, but they'll hold back something for DLC or unlocks in the game. What I want them to do is address the Cole characters as a PS3 exclusive and those two anime cat characters!
I still have hope for Elena. Elena for SF, Eddy or Christie (preferably Eddy) for Tekken.
I know this probably wont happen, but what do you guys think if they put Ryu's (fake) brother Shun in there?

The "2 surprise" may not be 2 surprise characters but instead be 2 overall game surprises, one including the new feature he was supposed to reveal yesterday. Ono is known for not expressing himself clearly so it may be 2 surprise characters, I hope its the new feature though.
They will HAVE to show gameplay for Rufus and Asuka. Ling and Bison have been teased, so they are likely to be shown next too, most likely with Jin and Juri

Bison is confirmed, Xiaoyu is confirmed...that's 2 characters, Ono's "teasing" confirms Juri as much as he tries to hide her we know she's there. (Really he isn't he's just revealing her by not revealing her face so techically it could be someone who wears her clothes <-- my logic and hopefully the reason why Ono does this. But we all know it's Juri.)
Also Cody and Guy were shown in a trailer as "new challengers" but they weren't in the current builds and had no character show-cases probably because their style is nothing new.

Wouldnt be surprised if that was her partner. Paul/Law will definitely be revealed sooner or later because they are part of the original Tekken cast and it WONT feel like Tekken without them. But I don't see E.Honda being in this game though.

If you don't get your characters in this March's final build, don't worry, you still have Super Street Fighter X Tekken, then you have Super Street Fighter X Tekken: Arcade Edition, then you have Super Street Fighter X Tekken: Arcade Edition Ver. 2013! We will have tonnes of characters!
Jin should be in, definitely, i would like to see Lars in, since he is my main and him being Protagonist in T6, but i find it unlikely.
Dictator in is almost mandatory imo, i think he needs more love. Law and Paul are a MUST on Tekken side, they have been there since T1 and have been a recurring theme for comic purposes and entertainment.
i would prefer any of them over Ling Xiaoyu, she gets WAY to much attention imo.
Also Boxer and Claw i would like seeing them, i enjoy playing them, and well sub boss is a nice thing, but i dunno if it would not be to much "mainstream" chars adding all of this

@22 poor sales?! Stop kidding yourself. Just cause your not buying it and don't like the gem(which can easily be turned off) does not mean this game will do poor. Some folks walk into GameStop,best buy,Walmart etc and buy games casually. As soon as they see 2 of the most popular franchises in fighting games together on a cover they'll buy it. This game will make dinero guarantee. So be prepared for sf x tk AE soon! Although I'm sure they'll wait for namco version to drop first

Cody and Guy aren't in the game. They went out of their way to get Cody's English and Japanese voice actor to do voice work for a character that isn't in the game.
