Are you kidding me? Ryu is one of the most recognisable video game characters of all time. He's the first thing that comes to mind when people think Street Fighter. Why would they not put him in the 25th anniversary logo? The logo isn't about originality, it's about representing the Street Fighter series.
The logo would be more original if they put Hakan on it, do you think that'd be better?

Another version of SF4 at the end of the year, with the SF characters from SFxTekken that aren't already in SSF4AE2012 + whoever else still needs to be added from Alpha + Third Strike.
Or else that'll just be SF5 eventually cause they'd be stupid to not reuse the same engine for the next game if it is still within this gen of consoles.
sf5 announcement with more characters, more stages, gens mk hands - mk hands back, beeing able to hit the opponent after KO again, online training mode, rematch button, no x-factor, no pandora, no gems, no crossover, no megaman..
just a pure, solid and complete street fighter game..
Expect to see that logo on the back of the SfxT case ( I'd be very surprised if it isn't. )
Apart from that, probably a few re-releases, some special tournaments and probably one last version of SF4 to add in the SF characters from SFxT that aren't in yet.

Damn... 25 yrs already? Old School SF player i am! I recall the 20th anniversary SF collection with the heavy edited SF Movie that was pretty kool. How about a SF anniversary section in the PSN/XBL that has everything SF - Games, Movies, Anime, Digital Manga, Soundtracks(OSTs), Wallpapers, etc. Find some cash for some new HD remixes (SNK vs & Alpha series). Import some of the weird stuff like the SF tactics game.
SF5 is 20yrs away but a Mash up with every SF character (Skullomania!!!!!!) would be awesome! An editor or mod patch for the home consoles would rock & a 3rd Ultra for the "25th anniversary" patch to SSFIV AE 2012 edition would be what I call fan service!
Even tho it wasn't the greatest id like to see a re-release of capcom fighting jam. Maybe more straight ps ports even if they don't have new functions. I'll buy them without hesitation. I don't think you should be playing/buying games if money is an issue.

I don't see what good an announcement for SFV will do, we all know it will be made eventually, the next gen consoles are right around the corner best bet is they will wait till they come out.
The most logical and easiest thing I see Capcom doing this year is giving us 10 or more characters to add to SSF4:AE, perhaps some stages,all costumes out the box, maybe some art, comic, anime, DVD with the making of SF4 etc
It will be a stand alone purchase.
It say's that they will be branding they're product with that logo, so everyone saying dlc and stuff, it aint happening. They need a actual solid product to put that logo on, not a virtual dlc.
My guess it will be another madcatz stick with that logo on the box.

You're prolly the closest, except they wouldn't release more SF4 stuff already... or they would, who am I kidding.
-Street Fighter II Mash-up, similar to what they did with the 20th Anniv where you could mix-fight with any version of your character might come back
-A Street Fighter Alpha Mash-up would be fun. SFA2 Shin-Akuma vs SFA3 Shin Bison. Plus it would bring back Dramatic Battle Mode!
-One of the animated movies would be on the disc again. Hopefully the alpha movie, we got SFII movie already
-Street Fighter: The Movie: The game. That's right, the game based off of the movie would have to be on this di... can't even finish. So I suck at intentional trolling.
Chun Li is better than Ryu & is the face imo.
She's:
-More entangled in the story lines.
-She's the first woman (i believe) to be a fighting game character.
-She has more unique moves.
-She fueds with the main antagonist(s) , not Ryu.
-She interacts with the more of the roster than Ryu.
-She fights for multiple reasons , Ryu fights to become stronger , in EVERY game. (Even SF3.)
-She's been in every crossover Ryu's been in.
Ryu's:
1-dimentional.
That's pretty much it. (Ken outshines Ryu in fighting & story imo as well btw.)

Chun Li is more important than Ryu for one reason....
There are TONS of Ryu wannabes...but there is only ONE Chun-Li - There are no known clones of her in ANY game.
A TRUE Mascot cannot be duplicated.
