Could you be any more simple minded? Why isnt Akuma, ken, sagat, evil ryu or Oni top tier? There exactly the same, invincible shoryuken, fireball, good health with an exception to e.ryu and Akuma, and good pokes. Try being a ryu fanboy a bit less next time.

@4 I'm pretty even if they didn't nerf Ryu's cr.forward Daigo would have dropped Ryu anyways because Yun was so OP in AE. He picks whoever maximizes his chance of winning (and who can blame him, he's a professional gamer)

Your arguement is weak, yes you could say you won 100-0 but at the end of the day he would just confirm you as a bs'er whilst there is proof for these matches. The other gamers would confirm that daigo or any other gamer won so many rounds against them. Probably alot of eye witnesses watching too.

I agree that the balancing in 2012 is great. Better than AE. But NO Top 8 ever looked like that!

Vanilla AE's top 8's were the MOST diverse of any version of SF4 to date! And due to the lack of 2012 tournaments so far this year is say it still holds that title.

Since when is AE top 8 ever look at that list you mentioned? True Fei won EVO 2011 and godsgarden 4 but it was nothing like that, as I recall the twins hasnt won any majors yet, and top 8 were quiet divers, you sound like there are a lot of twins and fei long pros when in fact there are only a few who can use their full potential.

Twins has not won anything MAJOR? Check out SBO 2011. Kazu and Ojisan-boy with a Yun-Yang just teared up everyone. And 2nd place team has Nemo with a Yang and 3rd has Daigo with Yun.

The 3 Hong Kong Fighters will only win majors if they are placed in the right hands, itc the Japs. Are you expect someone like Ryan Hart or Floe to won with Yun and Yang?

Ryu'a not OP at all. This game is indeed where it should be at as far as balance goes.

I played against Daigo at Taito Shinjiku two days ago and won a set (just made a card that day). Does that mean I may have broken his no-loss record outside of top 10?
