LevelUp|Alex Valle and JR Rodriguez recently faced off with a set of 29 matches. Both of these players are skilled fighters but Alex shows that he is very familiar with this matchup. This match is an AE 2012 match.

After the jump are two matches courtesy of Cross Counter TV showing Laugh vs. Problem X and Skatan during Canada Cup 2011. These matches took place before the 2012 patch.

^ Well, Daigo is clearly number #1, so are you saying Valle is worse than #2 now (if he ever was that high to begin with)?

Valle vs JR Rodriguez isn't bad but the Daigo vs. Tokido set of 100 games from SSF4 a year ago are still the best Ryu vs. Akuma matches ever recorded imo.

I like how the description summed it up as Valle just being familiar with the match up as a nice way of saying, "Valle is a good player. Now watch JR's inputs for an hour and laugh til it hurts."

I was very surprised that pikachu beat Alex 8 times! I guess he mashed very hard.

JR is better than Tokido. I guess everyone forgot that JR was the one that eliminated Tokido from EVO.

@#13 I think you mean sent Tokido to losers.
Remember Tokido out placed JR at Evo 2010.
Also, mirror matches don't prove who the better player is.

@13 As an Akuma player i have mad respect for JR, and he is probably the best Akuma in America.. but to say hes better than Tokido is just wrong.

I love Valle. I was never a Ryu player and this character is so overused but this guy always entertains me and he wins a lot as well! He stands for the original arcade spirit. Keep it rolin'!
