That's probably because he's paranoid about having his matches recorded.

TUC has always been one of the best dictators in Japan... He just disappeared after vanilla. Glad to see him return.

Daigo probably plays online with a secret account.

So what is the deal with these guys, they must spend a lot of time in the arcades? Do they all live in the same city?

@15: Pretty much. Considering that Tokyo Metropolis is the most populated metropolis(+37mil.) it wouldn't be hard to imagine most of Japan's best are also from around there. Shinjuku's Taito arcade is easily the highest level center when it comes to fighting games.

Why would you want to play online, when the best players are just at the arcade very near your house?

@arsenballz:

#1: Recording videos in the arcade is prohibited.

#2: #25 and #26 are right, you can't expect even the "dumbass daigo fanboys" to have so much time (and maybe even creativity, with no disregard) to come up with those statistics.

#3: If you really want to get an idea of how these players play in AE 2012, you do realize there are vids of Kazunoko's Seth and Mago's Sagat playing online at youtube, right? Same goes for players like Shiro for example.

LOL why do people think theres some conspiracy where they won't release Daigo footage. THEY DON'T ALLOW YOU TO RECORD AT ALL IN JAP ARCADES how many times does this need to be posted. And why do you want to see his Ryu anyway its just going to be zoning and footsies what makes you think he changed his style?

The reason you don't see footage of Daigo playing is because he entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber so he could gain years of practice in what seems like days to those of us on the outside!

@36

That was beautiful. :)

You know, without footage, this EVO will be one to be remembered with all the new technology. :) Let's find something to be optimistic about people. WE ARE part of the fighting game community. Instead of argue amongst ourselves, let's find something to, oh, i don't know, help each other about. Let's stick together. That's what I think. :)

Daigo is not getting clear advantage over Sagat players. At tournaments like Evo he has greater chance of facing sagats than seth in earlier rounds, and therefore even if his Ryu seems going strong, his future in tournaments doesnt seem as promising.
