The second part of the community tier polls project for Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012 is now available. We're asking readers to vote on each of the match ups for Dhalsim, Dudley, E. Honda, El Fuerte, Evil Ryu, Fei Long, Gen, Gouken, Guile, Guy and Hakan. As with any tier list, this one will also be hotly debated, but we're asking members of the community to vote on game's match ups that they're familiar with.
For example, if you feel the Chun-Li vs. Adon fight is 5-5, 6-4, 7-3 or whatever score, we'd like you to jump on the forums and cast a vote for how you think the game's various bouts stack up.
This is open to the entire community to vote — but this will not replace the other tier listings on the site. When the results are compiled, this will be clearly labeled as a community poll tier list, to try and gather and see what the general opinion of the match ups are right now in v2012 by the playerbase at large.
In case you missed the first announcement, you can still vote on Abel, Adon, Akuma, Balrog, Blanka, Cammy, Chun-Li, Cody, C. Viper, Dan and Dee Jay's match ups, or you can see the results of what the community thinks so far.

i had always thought that the matchup viper guy was 7-3 for guy cause its always seems to me that guy pokes are the best in Sfae ,everything against him is a counter hit.
weell again i know jack shiit about guy matchup, but his range is really big....
haha!
catalyst using low tier caracter(sim and rose),not gonna go far with those.....
HAHAHAHAHAHA Folly is just to funny, i luv fighting characters like tat because when i win, i feel good about it (and when they send me rage mail its even better). Funny thing is ive been using seth since vanilla and i was never expecting this this too happen. Well have fun Folly
I am not sure doing it by opinion is any better than doing it by win/loss records. Also, can anyone really comment on things like Dee Jay vs Gen reliably? The rarity of a matchup is hard to add to this equation without altering the results too artificially.
That being said, despite the inaccuracies that may result, this is a fantastic idea. Can't wait to see the rankings.
IMO I tend to think a scrub tier list can be just as useful for scrubs as a pro tier list. It shows the matchups that scrubs typically have an easy and hard time with. When you compare it to a pro tier list and see differences, you can better analyze why they're different and what you should be changing about your game. You can also analyze what characters are more applicable at all levels of play rather than characters who only the pros can use to their full potential.
Assuming you got enough honest votes, the results would not only be interesting but valuable imo.
I will catch some remarks for this but who cares. so far from what i can tell this is the most balanced one yet.everyone has a bad matchup. Seth has a bad matchup just the problem is all the good players stick with the same five or six people to play. bullcat beat poonko however you spell it. Gouken is a bad match for seth just no pro's play him long enough to learn him. he can take seths air game with hado's his kongo beats his Dp. just he dont get played enough. Mogo played gouken for that one video and he did well. just think if he played him for six months.

"10 - 0"
I see a fellow comrade still stuck with PC (no support)
Yun Edition.
They'll echo the tier lists of top players.
