@3 when did combo fiend step up to fight jago? He never did, I don't even know why people are still talking about it. It's not jagos fault that salty ass gootecks tried to set him up. Combofiend was embarrased and you could see it in his face that he never wanted to play jago. Just shut up already, combofiend picked up the mic and said "who wants to play jago?" He never tried to play him.
Ppl who try to play it off like Combofiend wasn't ready to go never seize to amaze me. Combofiend got bored off waiting 10-15min of debate and stalling for something to happen and simply left sick of it all. Watch the crosscounter live episode that came after where Gootecks explains it all to Valle - he was standing RIGHT THERE when the sh-t went down but I guess you Jago dickriders still heard it all better right? Ugh, we are still talking about the whole Barfights thing? It's over. Time to move on. It's not like we won't see a Fiend/Jago match in the future anyway. And though CF is probably the better player overall, it's not like Jago's a chump who's going to get bodied. He looks better every time something of his is posted and he's been placing well in tournaments lately. It's a closer match than some might be willing to admit.
Also, a lot of big players seem to be testing out Zero teams. I think word is finally getting out on Zero that he's arguably the best character in the game. Another 3 months and he'll be the new Wesker, especially given that he's one of the worst matchups for Wesker in the game. We'll be hearing people complain Zero needs to be nerfed soon enough.

I think the new characters have not been explored enough to declare Zero the best quite yet. Hawkeye in particular looks like he may not have many bad matchups, even against Zero.
@ everybody : I was there at BarFights and i saw everything up close... Combofiend had his stick was gonna set himself up but Jago refused to play him at first. He admitted that Combo was just too good. Combofiend didn't want to play somebody who wasn't all in it either. It's Combofiend... anybody would feel the same way lol I wouldn't call him a coward though. He talks smack but.. doesn't everybody?
anyone would have stepped up to fight combofiend. jago flew from new york all the way to cali to fight a player who barely plays. did you see how fast he took that match after he ran from combofiend.

Jago talks trash and builds hype. It's what the scene needs. It's great there are lots of friends in the industry, but villains make drama, and they make heroes. It will help the scene in the aggregate. Jago went from "that Bison player who beat Daigo once" to one of the most mentioned and discussed names out there right now. Keep hating on him, you're only doing him a favor.
I also like some of his Zero technology here. He's big into team synergy and I'd be curious as to how well he can work in someone like Trish with Zero. I think there are some potentially nasty possibilities there.
Why is everyone saying Zero is the best character in the game? Are you serious? Just go ahead and overlook WESKER, wolverine, vergil, magneto, doom, akuma, dante, hawkeye, etc. & then maybe he's the best character, but to say he's easily the best is just stupid. He doesn't need any more buffs or any nerfs he is just fine as a character.

Zero has maybe 4 or 5 characters in the game that go even or close with him in matchups and they are Dante,Vergil, Trish, Spencer, and Hawkeye. The rest lose and Wesker and Wolvie lose bad. Zero has godlike normals, top 3 projectile game, has maybe the single best air attack, can do insane damage without using much meter, and builds meter better than anyone else in the game. And he's small. I would agree that he is not definitely the best, but he's easily top 5 and I think he has a better case than anyone for claiming the top spot.
Oh and the dog matches up even or close too. the main point though is that Zero has no decidedly bad matchups and matches up well against everyone else in the godtier.
Zero is a dual lightsaber wielding hitbox from hell with awesome mobility, with priority who's backed up with a giant lasercannon which can be fired at any time capable of teleports and mixups and 50/50's on incoming characters chucking laser from all angles, cloning himself, a level 3, controlling the screen from any point (even a superjumping wesker firing gun isn't superior in a war of nutrition), great air priority and TOD combos from everything without xfactor besides building meter doing so.
