In addition to drinks, music and tons of Street Fighter X Tekken kiosks, this week's launch party includes a super cool, one of a kind gallery featuring Street Fighter-inspired works. Better yet, they're all part of a silent auction, so if you're attending and are in need of some displayable art, be sure to swing by!
These are just a few of the pieces on display at the show

Blanka was confirmed already for DLC.
Panda is an alt costume for Chun-li, but no word whether she will be in the game eventually. I doubt it though, since she was basically just a re-skinned Kuma.
I love Fighting game inspired art. I like doing sculptures myself :) But I don't see what's so great about the image on the right with the silohouette of Ryu.
That 2nd one is so lame, who is gonna buy that? Serously? I can make that in 5 minutes in Photoshop.
The font used for "fight" in the second one also looks heavily influenced by Futura.
The 2nd artwork is so dope. Street Fighter and Jordans; two of my favorite things. For the uninformed, they changed the Jumpman Jordan silhouette to Ryu and changed the Nike "Flight" to "Fight." And used the Jordan elephant print as the background. That concept is so dope. Some people in the fighting game community need to get out more.
@NWR amen brother. The sneaker community has its own langue and lingo just like the fighting game community does. The 2nd joint will sell merging sf with Jordan's?! The greatest basketball player in history with the greatest fighting game franchise in history.

Thanks for the info. It's a good design, but is it art? I don't know but to me a work of art is something more one of a kind that an artist put more of themselves into than copying and pasting other designs together in Photoshop.
I consider the first image art because you can obviously see that the artist created those stylized SFxT characters. But the air jordan inspired piece isn't an original work at all, except for the play on words, which isn't within the scope of visual art.
