"Wtf happened?" is a good question as today you'd expect Dawson Creek casting of white kids that could pass for asian. but the original SF movie added unnecessary plots to simple characters Like Ken being a low level thug and Ryu tagging along, Honda, Chun and Balrog being a team of reporters. Then there's the stupidity of Deejay being a low level tech guy for Shadowloo and a sassy black guy also, T.Hawk being a almost mute UN soldier while dropping the whole fighting tournament thing enitrely.

For some reason when this video was ending, I just started laughing because all I could hear was Ken saying "Dragon!.... Dragon!... DRAGON!"

I really hope I am not the only one who thought ht was funny.

In the "movie", when Cammy was fighting some dude she says "THRUST-KICK!".

And proceeds to just straight kick dude. I then became ashamed that I watched it that far

Back in the day, SF: The Movie was as close as most could get (including me) to play a home version of Super Turbo. If I remember correctly, it was released at the launch of the PS1 and it took many years until the SF Collections were released. The only other home version of Super Turbo at the time was on the 3D0. It was a decent port (I liked the soundtrack), but finding a decent controller was difficult to say the least (I eventually found a stick for the 3D0, but it didn't help much). Like the video stated, the home version of SF: The Movie basically used the Super Turbo engine. I don't know if Capcom could get the rights, but I think it would be cool to have both versions on some sort of collection (for history's sake). I think I played the arcade versions a few times and it was nothing like SF. (Incredible Technologies made a pretty fun wrestling game for the TurboGrafx-16 called 'Battle Royale'.

Even though the movie was bad, at least it was entertainingly bad... Legend of Chun Li however, that's the one that needs to be forgotten
