Guy doesn't have a clue what the so called "tiers" are... let the pros and community judge hot box... King looks raunchy though, excited to play him.

I really want to see some bison gameplay though.

Doesn't really matter when no one has really gone deeper with even half the cast.

I've yet to see them fully utilize the combo engine, which could make a bunch of characters much better than on the surface.

Hell, I've yet to see anyone use charge cancel combos for extending combos except for Bison in the reveal video (I think) and Marduk.

A lot of people like the Level Up Your Game crew and the Finger Cramp crew have already had the game for a while, which is why they've been doing character breakdowns. Just because it isn't out for everyone doesn't mean that the people that actually do have access to the game and know what they're talking about can't speculate on the effectiveness of characters from a tier perspective. LPN and Crackfiend aren't just pulling things out of their asses with these breakdowns, either.

Go join the queue of dopey complainers that have nothing else to do but pick apart every single thing they hear or read, there's A LOT of you around.

Juri looks a little faster. And coming from someone who's played her since the original ssf4, she's definitely a mid tier character.

That was Ganryu, from Tekken.

Yo I was hoping that her j. hp caused a ground bounce like Marduk's, plus it was a knock down in ssf4. Oh well, I guess an ambiguous cross-up is just as good. Her dash looks faster, and her over head looks as good as Viper's was. If you can link a cr. mk after the overhead then it's gonna be like playing Juri with infinite FSE!

People get way too sensitive about tier discussions.

Anyhow, JURI!!! <3 <3 <3 So happy that my SFIV time is not in vein, lol. And my gawd, she looks to be insane in this game. Pretty much permanent FSE, lol.

That said, King is really surprising me. after this vid and the LUYG walkthrough... I may be playing him and Juri as a team on day one.

I don't know, I just need this game to release already! A little over a week to go...

I really like Juri, so I'm happy she is on this game. She is one of the best characters introduced in the SF4 series, so she need to keep popping in crossover games in the future.

Damn son, everyone is hoppin aboard the King bandwagon... WGE stream, and all these tutorials for him, it sucks, i was hoping he'd be underused and id scoop everyone with him, but no sadly.

Ah well, in all honesty I guess this is good for the character, but im sure half the people interested in King now werent before.

@ Dafamx - if it helps, I played King quite a bit in Tekken 3 and later in Tekken 5. XD Always been a fan of the character, just not enough to main him.

I've been curious about him since he was announced.

It's odd though - I was for sure that I'd be playing Juri, Lili and Julia and that'd be it. But right now, so much of the cast looks fun I'm going to give everyone a try to find a partner for Juri.

Aside from Bison... never really enjoyed his playstyle much.

Anyone on here complaining about opinions on tiers need to calm down. As a tournament skilled level player or above, You can easily play a character and feel how good they are from just their normals. Then what the specials are, how fast, and where they hit. etc. etc. It's easy to tell who is going to be the top bunch of characters, for the most part anyway. Like marvel... Wesker as a character is way too good. You can tell just playing him for 10 minutes. This goes for all fighting games. You have characters that are just amazing. Then you have characters that PLAYERS MAKE amazing (mid tier). Doesnt matter to me tho.. I win with low tier on purpose ;)

I know how you're feeling... I'm hoping when bryan fury comes out that he isnt used by any of the top pro names. because Once combofiend or j wong or someone even uses a character... EVERYONE hops on that character. LOL. Scrubs...

If kings 2nd style super does higher damage and can be mashed, then whats the point of using the 1st style super? just for looks?
