And on a new YouTube channel, devoted to his music, Desk did more arcade stick drumming and bass playing, which you can see after the jump.
Tip from Azure_Dauragon.
Desk is broken playing the game and at making music. :O
Damn man, desk is god-like. Is there nothing he can't do? really lookin forward to his performance at Evo.
"rather uninspiring combos for EX3, and sadly most of the tagging ideas from ex3 won't be carried over into SFxT (much more limited to whats possible in SFEX3). People will figure out all the combos and the system in 1 week. Guess thats why they added gems to give the illusion of a deeper system than what it really is. "
I don't understand the hate for SF x Tekken. Capcom is trying a few different ideas and what's strange is that people actually seem angry about it.
What do these fighting fans actually WANT I wonder.
They don't want more street fighter 4 iterations yet they don't seem to want anything new.
Maybe all of them are waiting for CvS 3 (me too).
I mean not being interested is one thing but people seem
pissed off about this game (weird) .
I say give it a shot before Sh__ing all over it.
Ha, I was just saying last night that SF X T has a lot of elements from EX 3.
@ #11 Good. Then don't buy it. One less scrub online.
Helly-yeah! I loved SF EX3. Screw all the haters.
@#19
-No, it is SF but with a combo system in the mentality of Tekken, not something like SF2.
-Capcom did have to do CvS3? When they started making this game SNK looked like it was about to die. They never delayed a game that didn't exist. While I think CvS2 is probably the best fighting game ever, no.
-Or they can experiment in a non-main line SF game and see how it works, because lord knows people would compain if SF5 played like this
-No, not really. But I guess this is the age of entitlement and humans are always mad scared-y cats when it comes to any kind of change.
-You don't have to buy any other gems, and chances are the ones given will cover all the bases you need.
-Chains are fine, this game still has plenty of links and extended combos, things that are complicated/hard to pull off/require timing, etc. Games other than Marvel have chains, even CvS2 had chains depending on your groove.
-Welcome to fighting games where we have re-used sprites, now for SFxT it is re-used model data.
Overall you just sound close-minded and entitled, and at the end of the day you don't have to play or buy SFxT, because you know, it is a video game, and all of them you dont have to buy.
The thing is , none of us have played it extensively.
I'm not saying you're wrong about the game's mechanics but
I'd like to believe there will be more to it than that.
I just think we should all have a bit of faith until we've
really played it / seen high level stuff.
It could turn out to be crap but when SF 4 came out in arcades damn near every high level player said it was
garbage, including Gootecks , J Wong , etc.
You saying that you're disinterested because of what you've seen would be one thing but you've said that the game is Pure S*** without even playing it.
For everybody's sake , I hope you're wrong.
@1 desk is the bassist. i think he plays on a 12 string. and @8 you can see him in his CalciusRepton videos. thats the band he was in with just him on bass and Denzel on Drums. theres also some footage of his Project Dolphin stuff.
Respect as always Desk

I laughed too much. What the bet him and AnaboliChris both have sfxt on pre-order!

If you really think the deepest the combo system gets is "L,M,H,H (tag) L,M,Special" then you are officially braindead. Everybody said the same thing about MvC3 and once people broke the game down and explored the engine they quickly discovered there was alot more than met the eye (i.e. 10-minute Dante combos/Chun Infinites etc...)
Literally, what you are saying is like saying "L,M,H,sj M,M,H OTG Super" is all that MvC3 has to offer.
The reason all you see is simple chain/tag combos is because nobody knows how to play it yet!!!! It's amazing how you can pass judgment on a game you have never even touched.
And btw, people weren't bitching about DMC5's gameplay....it was the character design. The bitching started far before any gameplay footage was released. But I'm sure you know that. I bet you led the rebellion.

Guaranteed!!!

"Marvel game is way different and deep than this.
Cuz every character has different/personal combo/move/tech system."
Is it really so different? True, the Marvel 3 cast differs vastly from each other as far as the things you mentioned above, but they also share the basic same chain combos for the most part(i.e. LMH sj MMH OTG Super...yada yada..). How do you know the SFXT cast doesn't differ as well? I mean, first of all, we are talking about two completely different franchises here, with their own respective mechanics being implemented in some way. That alone adds layers of depth that wont be tapped into until the game is broken down and explored. And aside from the chain combos, you can't just disregard the fact that this game features links just a prominently as SF4 (assuming they all make the transition) and probably more so than MVC3. Once again, something that hasn't even been fully explored yet.You cant judge the game off casual gameplay. I mean seriously, did you just assume SF4 was nothing more than Dragon Punches and Ultras and dismiss it as a "shallow game"? If you consider Marvel 3 a "deep" game, then I don't see how you can write this game off so quickly.
"I saw the MVC3 and i said ''wow this game is so complicated'"
-_- Conversation over.
BTW, your reading comprehension skills are lackluster at best.
Loved the music, could care less for that SF game. Btw, #16, you missed the fact that he can play against himself.
