Dude this is an ARCADE update, more than likely these are the things that were already added to the game in the console version. Don't try and cast every company as DLC villians.

Why wait? The game was only 40$ on release(With Free Soundtrack), not 60.
Yes, there's DLC to buy but nothing you're forced to get.
And the game is not getting any updates on console, they're talking about the Arcade updates.

I sort of get #1's point. It's not even all about the price, but the annoyance of having to re-learn nuances of the game all over everytime they decide to re-balance it.

I really miss the times when they'd just release a game and be done with it. No DLC, no balance patches.

Because GokaiGreen looks for reasons to be miserable and angry. Not sure why he torments himself with Video Games.

Lol, I bought EVERY version of SF4. I bought EVERY costume. I even bought AE DLC and AE DISK VERSION!

And I loved and enjoyed EVERY minute of EVERY purchase!

However.......

I am in the camp that feels that paying for attributes, I.E speed and strength boosts is absolute BULL$HIT. Bad trend for the FG community.

I didn't care for the free soundtrack at all. I do like some of KoF's music but it didn't excite me while I was listening to it.

Then it's safe to say you've never played a fighting game.

You guys are idiots, these aren't balance changes these are just fixes and are most like would come to console.

@1

Wow so this game was going to cost you 60? I get what you are trying to say but watching videos online isnt going to help your execution. So far this is only for the arcade but who knows maybe SNK will do the update for free. It doesnt look like anything crazy yet but I dont see them being as greedy as capcom. The 3 DLC characters they had I was sad they were DLC but they were cheaper and I did buy the game at a discount so I was more than willing to support this company. Cap on the other hand....

Thanks for the pal's translating, but according to the offical blog, Shen's counter penalty was removed for far D, not C:
【シェン・ウー】
・遠HK中にカウンターやられが発生しないよう修正
