Anyway, I can't wait until this game drops. I think this will finally be the one where I can get a nice amount of my friends to play with me, instead of only having online ranked/player matches against randoms ALL THE TIME. It really sucks having a bunch of gamer friends who don't play the same games.

Good thing Gootecks doesn't have Asthma, that laugh would be the end of him. Hahaha

Cole actually looks pretty cool! - the Cyrax bombs in particular. I suppose I'd be ok with him not being low tier if it happens.

Do they even put guest characters in tiers, since most tournaments won't use them due to the Xbox not having them?

Seems like Cody won't be in the game considering Cole shares a few of his moves.

Ken also shares a few of Ryu's moves... and the same with Hugo and Gief.

I doubt characters sharing moves precludes any character from being in the game, given that it has been a staple of the Street Fighter series since the beginning.

@10 Usually those characters are parallels though, Ryu and Ken where trained under the same person. Hugo was the next generation of Geif. Urien and Gill are brothers.

Cole is a guest character and has nothing to do with Cody. I dunno I just find it unlikely that he'll be in it. Maybe as DLC or in an update but not right off the bat.

You also have to consider that Cole is a guest character exclusive to the PS3, so I doubt he would count against the core roster and how they decided it.

IF anyone wants to play SF x T with a player who plays 14 hours a day add N0 ONE SPECIAL, no i dont use ken/ryu or kazuya/jin. also i'll be sure to accomodate players who dislike gems to create no gem lobbies. it will be private so be sure to add me:)

I used to hate Gootecks maniacal laughter. Now I think it's the best thing ever.

Not sure how that happened.

How do these people get these early builds of the game? Is there some process that everyone can do? I hate having a disadvantage at release. It's really not fair for early tournaments.

Yeah Gootecks laugh is legendary.

Not like these people have personal copies of these builds. They are mainly used for promotional reasons such as this show.

My friends don't play fighters AT ALL, so UMVC3 is not that easy to jump into for them like that. The fact that SFxTK has Scramble Mode is what makes me think I can get anybody into this game, and it also doesn't hurt that this game is all chain, mostly. Throw in the gems and what insanity they may or may not bring to the game and this one will probably be a blast to play with friends, if nothing else.

I hate the fact that this Cody/Guy as DLC thing might be happening too but I have to have Cody if he's gonna be there. I am kinda holding out hope that they're unlockable but able to be downloaded just to sidestep whatever you have to go through to unlock them, like Akuma and Ogre are rumored to be. I hate the way DLC works too but it's not like it's only Capcom doing this; we have to damn near condemn the entire gaming industry for this.

I know you guys read the comments section. Please consider this as a HUGE chance to reach out to the other half of your viewing audience by playing SFxT on the Playstation 3.

Excellent adventures and Marvelous adventures have had the spot lite on 360, and that's all good. But you do communicate/broadcast to people other than XBL. Please give us a chance to play against you and showcase our skills on a New program.

To further my point,

While the Bonus Characters may not be "Tournament viable", they could make for interesting and funny matches during your show.

Please consider the PS3 as your format of choice for SFxT.

P.S. I have no problem with 360, but we'd like our chance in the spot lite as well. No flame war please.

I know it was done differently but they were there and I do not hear as many complaints about that so why worry about this one?

As for the DLC issue.. You want more content but not willing to pay for it(on the disc or not).. You are screwed... You wind up getting it but sad that you paid money for content.."on the disc"..Screwed again

In the end it really is about your devotion to your fighting game... Whether you do or you do not buy DLC for it due to personal pride or whatnot.. You will see where you stand. <3

"What exactly is cross counter?" If you're watching that and you don't know what cross counter is, you shouldn't be playing capcom games.
Also that ginger is so goddamn annoying. Why do video games companies always hire people that have no goddamn clue about their own games.

Shes basically paid to be the plastic noob who knows nothing so the pro's and experts basically re-highlight and explain the basic and deeper things. I have never watched Cross Counter and I thought it was informative. Also, I have been playing Capcom games since the mid-80's, and I will continue to do so. Thank you very much.

@Aluppoi - I'd love to reach out to the ps3 online scene but in all honesty PSN is the worst thing ever created. We've tried several times and the lag is unbearable.

Play Yellow or Green bar opponents. You'll have no problem. I never do. I've played every day for years and had a 98% (roughly) great experience with SF4 on PSN.

I've also played extensively at my best friend house... Who just so happens to be on XBL. And I swear on my eyes!!! The experience I had was no different!

Besides bro, how many freaking episodes have you guys complained about lagging out on XBL? I've heard it soooo many times!

Give it another shot. For us. Your PSN/Crosscounter loyalists.
