Sometimes I wish I never told people to make a Cross Assault video and take a chance at the end of my Audition. Now a whole bunch of already known people, including sponsored people are putting up Auditions. They are already able to travel to almost any tournament they want, and can get any accessories they need to help them along.

I'm not mad, it just sucks a bit for the new faces that are trying to step up their game, and aren't able to travel out to tournaments that well, or have the money to participate in some.

Kinda funny though how I keep seeing CC TV retweeting known players links and asking for people help to vote and support.

I'm sure these players got plenty of fans already. I'd be interested to see the less known players get more limelight and exposure instead, so keep flooding your audition guys.

It's Exce55um he's an Australian player, I can't remember if he's from Melbourne or Sydney. He's also one of the guys from The Shadowloo.

It might seem weird to choose only top players but:

-people aren't going to watch if its a bunch of stream monster no names competing with each other.

-we want to see the process of a top player learning a new game and getting good at it. That is much more interesting than watching a bad player get mediocre at the game.

SO while I want to say "give the new guys a chance!", putting 10 top players together would be many many times more interesting to watch.

I disagree with you bro...yes the top players are exciting because we know them but having them play is going to undermine the mission of this program. From what I heard, they going to choose players that have skill and even chance to get to know the game from the ground up. MANY top players already played the game and they already have exposure in the community, so it is time for modest players and unknown players to give it a shot. Furthermore, in the interview, they wanted the top players to couch and give tips on how to play the game. It would be odd and comical since team coach, Alex, coaching Justin Wong, it doesn't make sense.

Modest players should be picked and practice against recognized players in the industry. If only top players are picked to run up against each other then this program is dumb and discriminating.

I don't know what this show would be like without F Champ on it seriously. Good sh1t to calling out KOR aka Zoolander on having absolutely no personality whatsoever as well, that dude just doesn't belong on anything entertainment related.

Fchamp is perfect for the show. As far as lesser known players who cares? Its a reality show. Nobody wants to watch random average guy play and get slaughtered by much better players. The show needs interesting, funny or polarizing top players/personalities. The only reason a lesser know guy should get in is based on personality.

Fchamp and Free1up need to be on the show for sure.

and @37 How much could someone like Justin Wong learn from Valle's teaching? I'd much rather see someone low-mid tier level their game up by using the coaching they're given. I don't want this to become, to use a fighting game, 3rd Strike, where if you're not Ken, Yun, or Chun-Li it's hard to break out.

I really dont know what this Cross Assault thing is all about, could be about competitive gaming, or extra stuff related to the game.

Capcom already knows who are the better top players, and if that's the only thing they need them to be, this teams would be decided via tournament or in-game competition.

We all love players, but even with their superior skills, almost no one has the personality to be entertaining and professional outside the game, imo. However, we need to accept that Pros are the people who have been giving everything to build the FGC, even when they are bigger gaming communities (and more rewarding for pro players cough starcraft).

To solve this pro/newcomers situation, I would assemble teams with diverse personalities. The champion (Justin, Kor), the chill out guy with skills (Chris G, Li Joe), the girl (all of them), troll with skills (F Champ, Marn), pro not so recognized (Shady K, Fubarduck), not american pro (the australian guy), the kid (Noah and the other kid), and the newcomer (skills + personality, best videos of unknown people). Something like this for both sides.

These guys are a bunch of piles of douche. Valle is the biggest douche there is. It's pathetic what US players we have. They all f**king suck. Gootecks and Ross are f**king worthless, Marn, Wong, please.. Let the Japanese just do what they do, the game is over, you dips**ts can argue all you want, they all f**king suck. You train and go to EVO.. yeah, that'll happen.
