I don't now who the hell these characters are, but I will buy this game simply because it looks amazing! ^_^

As a huge fan of the Manga series, it's brilliant to finally see a great Anime and a great game for this awesome series. I love to see people learning more about the series instead of just only seeing Part 3 in most forms of media, which gives the misconception that Star Crusaders is the beginning and end of the series.

I hope that Zepelli, Yoshikage Kira, Dio Brando (part 1), Funny Valentine and Father Pucci are revealed soon.

I sometimes wish there was more hype around JoJo. But after seeing the fans of other manga, and then comparing them with the fans of JoJo, I kinda like the way it is.

It seems like the cinematic supers also changes depending on who it's used against. That or there are character specific specials. Whatever the case, this game seems quite interesting to me.

This is looking better each time I see it. Just needs,more "Battle Tendency" characters. CESAR!!!!:-D

Capcom should just buy CC2 and have them do all their dighting games. They're the only ones that capture the 2D essence of the old games in stunning 3D. After Asura's Wrath i had high hopes CC2 would be doing Darkstalkers but looks like thata not the case.

Looks neat, but the fact that they openly admitted to it being a casual kinda game turns me off. It doesn't have to be super complex, but a little depth would've been appreciated.

It does look like it may have some love in the competitive scene. I don't think the 30- 60 fps will make that much of a difference.

According to what I heard, they have also announced 7 other characters after the trailer.
If I remember correctly, one of them was Jonathan and another was Koichi Hirose.

This game is more for manga fans than the fans of previous games though.

I expect them to have the jojo and main antagonist from each part.

@34: main characters and villains of each part are pretty much a given.
@36: there are more than one attack button so nyeah.

@37: i was always under the impression that the game will have a decent number of characters from each part. at least all of the notable protags and one or two favorite villains.

and i might be silly to think like this, but i believe they'll have some secret unlockable characters.

the Naruto CC2 games have hella characters, so no reason for Jojo to miss out on very unique characters like Narancia/Iggy/Diego/Weather Report.

IF there's more than one attack button unlike the Naruto games I'll give this a try. Naruto wore my O button out.

why do so many people relate this to naruto .... naruto has like one button for hitting and well... sucks, now ultimate ninja for the ps2 was the only good one, but i digress. The new Jojo game is turning out well and is doing an amazing job of imitating the manga, i just wish they sped up the game a bid, it seems a bit slow for such an action oriented fighter.

I hope no one expects anything much from this game. As much as I love Jojo, this game is tectonic plate slow and probably will be a shallow button masher. On top of flawed design it will be horrendously imbalanced. I hope I'm wrong but CC2 hasn't made anything good since the PS2 era and catering to casuals always means death to quality.

people relate this to Naruto cuz CyberConnect2 are not known to make the most balanced of games and a lot of things are down right broken like you see in NU:Generations and don't really patch anything super broken players complain about. As long as you dont play this too competitively you will have a great time I know im getting it.

@45 the difference between dbz games and whatever CC2 makes is that CC2 put WORK into their games. No1 can make anime games look as good and true to its nature as they can. I too do the same as 44 and i know the game will be broken in 3 months, but i support the work they put into their games and that alone gets them my money

@46 - CC2 hasn't made anything good since the PS2 era. All the Ninja storm games are terrible. The visuals are stunning and the animations stay true to the source material unlike the DB games however just like every lazy anime cash in, the characters are copy and pasted. Characters are either best up close or far away in the most basic sense and the games encourage and reward spam.

I'm a fan of shounen but you won't ever see me supporting products with their franchises slapped onto them because they are almost always terrible garbage. These products are marketed towards people like you and 44 because you guys will buy the game on name value alone without regard to quality.

I support products where after the flashing lights and hype cinematics the game is still enjoyable and can hold my interest. These games are designed for goldfish. It's your money, you can buy whatever the **** you wanna buy. however people like you are why the standard gets lower and lower every time.

The animations for your one button mash strings look very different from character to character. Very well done in emulating the look and movements of the characters. What you have to concede is the fact that since all these animations are packed into one string, each character essentially has the same properties on all of their strings with little exception. Nearly every string ends in the same ways, you get knocked far away, you get ground bounced or simply smashed onto the ground, you get up into the air straight up. Jutsus and Ougis are diverse but then not really, you can combo into them off a juggle but there aren't any that I recall that you can combo after. Ougis are ougis, they are cinematic and you can't combo after them.

What makes a character good? How fast does the neutral O start up? How good is tilt O? How much can you abuse the jutsu? How fast does the ougi start up? And the game is made that way so people who don't want a technical fighter can get into it. It is designed in a simple way so you can go from character to character without having to remember specific commands. It is the same for every character and pretty much works the same.

I've played these games for quite a while, so **** outta here with that condescending talk you dumbass.
