Welp Gen Fu finally got one all is right in the world. Bass has another and its a different color one? Might as well give a Santa outfit to Alpha 152

They are milking(Tits) the hell out of their fans. Good stuff to Team Ninja for filling up the money bags. The sheep are actually buying every costume pack that comes out. LOL

@4 Fans being "sheep" is a horrible metaphor buying DLC. Fans have a choice, sheep do not. Come back with a better metaphor...
But the DLC is a little overboard.

Hey what are the character playtypes or where can i find them. Like who is what type of grappler or rushdown or whatever counter heavy. I am thinking bout renting this but i dont wnat to have to go through every character until i find one so i can actually enjoy the game.

I like this game but I have not bought any costume packs. It's crazy overboard...if someone bought all the DLC they may have spent more on the DLC than the actual game.

It's a pity they all pretty much look exactly the same. Could have at least made a few differences. Colour, a certain pattern, accessories etc.

@8

I'm sure their undergarments are of different variety, after all, that is one of the most important aspects of DoA.

@7

Yes, the DLCs will probably cost over $100 in the end. As long people keep on buying them, they will release more. It makes perfect business sense.

I completely agree that they are going overboard with these DLCs and now they cost as much as the game itself. Also most of these DLCs aren't worth the money and are just palette swap of one another and I find them just plain lazy and no creative. I enjoy this playing this game but these DLCs are nonsense.

I agree with anthonygamer that whoever buys these are a sheep to this game like BloodBurger. This DLC generation just plain sucks.

@3 Alpha 152 is unlikely to get a santa outfit, because one she is not a human, two every bosses from other DOA games in general only has 3 outfits.

@10 actually Little Big Planet series is the first game to have alot of DLC costumes.

@4 Just because people choose to buy DLC, that doesn't mean they are sheep. You really need to understand & respect other people for their own choices even if you don't like it.

@11 To westerns in general would think DOA important aspect is perverted stuff (which these people are wrong and sexist). DOA is a game which is inspired by other games from Virtua Fighter, Fatal Fury (Gaoru Densetsu), Mortal Kombat, & Uncharted. I know what DOA is really all about because I'm more openminded than other people.

@12 You don't have to buy the DLC if have a hate. People are not sheep because they bought thoes DLC, BloodBurger makes videos to advertise from SFXT DLC stuff, Soul Calibur V DLC etc. Heres another thing Tekken Tag 2 has the worst verity and not alot of creative (even if DOA5 doesn't have a customization).

I absolutely LOVE this game, but this is ridiculous. I'd be ok with them selling them individually for 1 dollar each. But even if it is just 1, 2 or 3 dollars, I'm not paying for something I won't use. Stop selling them in packs!

lol everyone's so mad at random costume DLC. i bought costumes that i liked, and didn't buy the ones i didn't like. it's as simple as that. i do wish they'd have it be character by character instead of in groups of 4, though.

(and i will not be getting this DLC)

@19 Oh yeah I've seen that case, I paid $80ish (don't remember) for that game in amazon. Thoes were 90s advertisment back then, despite what it said back then and despite the content in general. DOA is a good game in general, and there is stuff that DOA got inspired by other games.
Heck Beautiful Women can exist any other fighter besides DOA.

I never said Dead or Alive is bad game because of it has beautiful women. It is simply a heavily advertised aspect of the series. You're assuming too much. What does that tell you about your own perception about Dead or Alive? Projection much? lol!

What is with people these days? Need to label someone something derogatory because they like buying extras?

@22 The whole aspect of the females in general is really a Japan fasion in general, heres another note Fatal Fury series was the first fighter to have bouncing breast (later games KOF series). I get your point but however the development team in general doesn't always focus too much on the costumes, besides they've improved themselves from previous DOA games when the game had very jiggly breast and are bustys which now DOA5 focus a new approach for females, and make them more like the details of females in general is whats important. (breast, panties, sexual costumes is not what details of females is meant by.)

Where were most of these white knights when Capcom was supposedly the most evil company in the world because they held off in favor of a digital update?

Sheep is the incorrect term but there's no doubt TN is only putting out costumes (many uninspired) by the bundle.

I completely agree man.

I find it so funny that when people bash Capcom about dlc, The Capcom white knights come out in droves and defend the practice. How can these guys defend Capcom, but bash Koei/Tecmo and the customers who purchased the dlc? I'll tell you why. They're immature Capcom fans that are trying their darndest to troll DOA fans.

Is Koei/Tecmo milking the bejeezus out of their fans? YES!!! But if their fans are happy with the content, then what's the problem?

I haven't spent a red cent of my money on this dlc
.(I use Bing Rewards for that stuff!) But if someone else finds value in the dlc, who am I to put them on blast because it?

TrueGamingGuru said on December 19, 2012 at 9:42 a.m.

@26 I think people would still moan in general, and they always love to bash stuff. Maybe these people need a text blocking the screen saying if you have a problem with thoes DLC don't buy it, but don't make a big deal about it this is the reality of DLC.
Heck your right about if they don't like the DLC, don't Buy it.

This kind of DLC is harmless. If you want it, you can buy it. If you don't want to buy it, it has no affect on the gameplay. As long as they aren't selling gameplay features, it's fine by me.

BloodBurger's avatar
BloodBurger said on December 19, 2012 at 12:31 p.m.

@26/30 I stand behind the belief that these "labelers" and "trolls" dislike paid DLC because they simply can't afford it. If they didn't want it and truly didn't care about it, they wouldn't be in these threads or watch my videos.

I have absolutely no problem paying 5-10 dollars for an addon to a game that I enjoy and I am by no means rich. It doesn't make me a sheep, it makes me someone who has enough disposable income to buy something that appeals to me.

If you like the costumes, buy them. If you don't, don't.

@34 These people in general are just trolls, arrogant, and childish.
These people mostly should remember if they don't like the DLC don't buy it, not spreading insults on people who bought the DLC & complain over little details of DLC (when Sony & Microsoft policy is related to paid DLC).

Heck you don't desevered to be called a sheep over you buying the DLC. The only thing these people can afford is COD maps (no troll or bash intended, its certain gamers in general).

All I can say no one is entitled to have free DLC.

@32 Haters are over the place its a plague.
