Let's go Taffy! - Excellent Clayfighter 63 1/3 parry exhibition features Evo moment #37 reenactment

One of the more obscure fighting games we've seen in the history of the genre is Clayfighter 63 1/3. Many players skip over this title due to its appearance but this wacky fighter features some rather intricate game mechanics such as supers, insane combos and even parrying, much like Street Fighter 3 Third Strike.

Wingedyoshi created an exhibition a while back that shows off a ton of great parries with various characters on the roster. Towards the end of the video we get to see an awesomely hilarious reenactment of the classic Evo moment # 37 between MCZ|Daigo and EG|Justin Wong.

Who knew Bonker had parries like that...

Man I loved playing the original Clay Fighter when I was a kid, didn't know anyone else actually knew about it.

I played this game on N64 and it's true the graphics and controls were crude but I still loved it. I played as Earthworm Jim and loved the combo names like "Little girly combo!" and "Triple Brown Betty combo!". Who was the boss in this game I forget.

Taffy was OP. I personally liked the pumpkin thing lol
