i already have this, but this is the 4th fighting game this year that is free on PS+ BattleFantasia>VF5FS>KOFXIII>SSF4AE it's a great way to get people to play fighting games

Already have AE for both consoles but hopefully giving it away on PS plus with help the AE scene continue to grow. The more the better.

This is a great deal and all, but most of us should already own this game. I hope this gets casual players to pick this up and support more fighting games in the future.

Errr, to my knowledge cross-buy doesn't work with the PSVita version, only with the PS3 version unless they changed the system. Can anyone confirm?

Otherwise, if it really doesn't the article should edit that out. Wouldn't want unsuspecting people expecting a free PS3 version.

Already have this game.... But I also have PS Plus.... It'd be a good idea for me though because sometimes I'm just too damn lazy to put in the disc.

PS+ is infinitely better than XBL. As soon as two of my friends move over (which should be this Christmas) I'll stop paying for XBL.

You will not get a free copy of PSABR for ps3 when you buy a copy for vita. It's the other way around, you buy PS3 version to get free copy of vita version

It's good that AE 2012 is free on P+... But what they don't say is - when your P+ subscription ends or is not renewed, you can't play the free games (only the ones you bought at a discount)

What's the point when SF4 network play on PSN is horrendous? Good offer for casual players but when you're a serious player you will take XBL over PSN any day for reasons that have been discussed to death already.

My friends list has.

Infiltration, WolfKrone, OnlineTony, Sethlolol and a few other lesser known players. And they'll all play SFxT and SF4 on their ps3 as well as x-box. (I.E. it's not for other games.)

So save your hateraid homeboy. Lots of people Waaaaay better than you are enjoying PSN.

The salty Xbox players feel obligated to find any reason to bash PS3, for no reason. I personally rarely get lag on ANY game I play. SF4,BBCSEX,SFxT,RE6,UMvC3 and dare I say KOF. Idk if it's my personal connection, but I rarely experience lag, nothing serious anyway.

You can pull off one frame links on ps3 consistently so I don't see the problems, unless you care about 0.000000001 frame delays or whatever, but don't kid yourself, you are not pro enough to be bothered with that delay anyway.

lol why am i not surprised a console flame war spontaneously happened. This time apparently the PS3 users are the vocal ones here in this article feeling the need to announce their cute dominance. Who cares? Pc specs will always outclass a console, hell the rumored specs of the PS4 and Xbox 720 already looked pretty outdated. So instead of trying to swing your nuts around(Bragging about PS+ while bashing XBL and vice versa) enjoy what you play without the superior attitude. Both consoles have their merits the other console lacks thats why i own both.

I have both consoles so I know the difference. Oh, and listing players like Infiltration is very convincing when he plays online in the Asia region where the network speeds blast away the network speeds here, in which case the PSN runs great.

It's not really free.... You can only use it as long as you pay for ps+. When you stop using the service, all the 'free' games can no longer be played.

does that mean that its not really free? it doesnt matter, as i own it for my 360 and have it on my jtag, but i just recieved a ps3 with a broken bluray lens, so im just downloading all the games i play from the PSN store. i got it for $50 for a slim with the 150gb HDD, pretty good deal if you ask me... now i just have to dual mod one of my TE sticks and ill be set

@53: That's not the Free game advertised. You got that from the Glorified Demos section called "Game Trials". Also, by the time of this post, the PS Store has yet to be updated.

This is actually pretty sweet news. I just gave in SSF4 and some other gamesto get the new PS3 a month ago and regreted it afterwards when i wanted to play it and now this happens. And to think i almost upgraded to 2012. Good thing i didnt. PS+ is too good

I might get sf4 now, cause is free. I'll probaly hate it just cause I hate the series.
