First footage of Dead or Alive 5 Plus on Playstation Vita - Kasumi battles against Hitomi

A Korean website called Daum TV uploaded footage of the recently announced Dead or Alive 5 Plus on Playstation Vita. This clip showcases some off-screen match footage between Kasumi and Hitomi.

Judging by this video the game seems to move quite smoothly on the Playstation hand-held. It was reported earlier by producer Yosuke Hayashi that the current build of the game runs at almost 60 frames per second.

We can expect to see this PS Vita version of Dead or Alive 5 early next year.

They pretty much did the same as UMVC3, they sacrificed the details on stages and special effects to let the characters graphics intact. Both games on the Vita version looked very smooth and still beautiful as the consoles. The only one that I think it didn't looked as good was SFXT.

I'm impressed by this. Hopefully we can see more Vita potential in the future.

Actually, the stage seen in that demo still has background animation. UMVC3 seriously cut back the stages - there were no animated characters anywhere. Just a few tricks to move non-animated objects around.

Generally, every fighting game port to Vita after UMVC3 has been better in terms of balance. SFxT looks very good and has more elaborate backgrounds.

@9
I'm not complaining, but the point still stands. Shouldn't there be a ball? If they can't manage that then what about all of the other interactive objects in the rest of the stages?

I'm guessing there's gonna be interactive objects that you will get knocked into, it's a game mechanic. It might depend on how detailed it will be.
