Awesome, can't wait for it to begin. I'm rooting for Daigo! But, I'll be happy if any Japanese player takes it. I think this will be the best tournament we've had in a long time. Hopefully the stream will be in HD...

@11 Really, Dieminion? He has a great Guile, but it's still Guile. Has his past performance indicated at all that he can take down any of the other killers in the bracket?

I think it's a complete toss up, but if I had to say I think Infiltration has the best shot since his Akuma is so versatile against all the different matchups.

Well if the top 3 SSFIV qualifiers all representing the past 4 evo champions doesnt cement EVO as THE premiere FG tournament of the world I dont know what does. Stats dont lie, and this 25th Anniversary tournament real brought in the cream of the crop.

Gamerbee, why? Why did you stick with Yun?

Snake Eyez tied for 5th, not bad. That's no doubt better than people expected a Zangief player to place in this tournament. Good stuff to him.

Now it's all down to three EVO champs - Daigo, Infiltration, and Fuudo. Can't wait!

I'm curious to see if Daigo will choose Yun over Ryu for the Akuma match-up.

Infiltration has been dominating a lot of top-class pros, but when he met Kazunoko in the Canada Cup 2012, he got bodied hard.

Besides, this argument is pointless. We're all inferior the Japanese anyhow. We're just fighting for second or third depending if we count Korea in all of this. Seems the Western World can't do anything right these days, from Economics to Street Fighter.

lol they have the sheer numbers to at least have one of them be in top 8, thats nothing to be proud of. US played piss poor and Europe played better and actually looked like they were not gonna lay down and take it up the key hole

#89 What? Japan has much worse off economy in comparison please don't talk out of your ass please

Well there is a lot of money in play, so if he have a hard time with Ryu he will go for Yun i'm sure, he has the second best Yun in the world (Kazunoko being the first).

I have a feeling infiltration will win. I do though think Daigo is a better player hands down. I think infiltration is getting "somewhat" by on Akumas outrageous tools. Plus its a bad mu for Ryu. Even if Daigo loses infiltration won't ever accomplish what Daigo has no one will he's a living legend. I know some young 8, and 9 yr olds who know who Daigo is.
