Yeah, that was a bit of a disappointment.
I kinda expected a new fighter. Then they showed MM2 and I expected a new, big budget Mega Man game. But... It's "just" a fanmod. Probably a very good, very fun fanmod. But just a fanmod.

LMFAO did you see the guy on stage when he announced the game and the SFxMM T-Shirts? He thought the crowd was gonna go crazy when he was showing off the shirt. No Hype!

Im all in on this. I love both franchises, and more importantly its a free game released by members of the community. Whats not to like?

The sad thing is that this is the closest that Megaman fans will get to a new proper Megaman game and it isn't even made by Capcom. Even I'm now seriously starting to believe that Capcom hate Megaman. They won't even make a game for him themselves.

The trailer was such a tease. The intro makes it seem like the reveal is going to be Megaman in UMvC3, especially the whole rooftop scenario with Ryu, which is exactly like Marvel's intro. Capcom are just toying with both their Marvel and Megaman fans at this point. I'm so sick of their crap. It's like they're allergic to money and common sense.

i'm happy the game has been released (didn't seem like the guy was divulging much info about it after a while).

I don't get it. Why are there people mad at this? It's free. It supports a fan developer. It's an awesome crossover. It's a step towards a Mega Man revival.

They only trying to promote the game because its a Street Fighter Tournament. If it was any other Megaman game crossover they wouldn't have gave two craps about it.

@dblock, people want a mega man game that isn't sprites. Fans have been doing these kinds of games for years and we want mega man legends 3 and megaman on marvel vs capcom but of course capcom is to dumb to notice that.

A very cool game from a great, classic franchise is released with Capcom's help and blessing and it's downloadable for FREE and people complain.
