BloodBurger returns today with a new series entitled Mortal Kombat - the Evolution of Murder. These four videos give us a look at the evolution of the Fatalities from Mortal Kombat 1 - 3 and the most recent MK9.

It's awesome to see how far each finishing move has come since the release of MK1 in 1992. Needless to say, there is quite a bit of NSFW content featured here.

Fatalities did not really improve over the span of the series. As time went along and pretty much after 2 the fatalities began to look less realistic and bland.

I admit there were many of them that looked beyond epic like Noob's crotch splitter(pretty much what it was lol) in 9, but many of the fatalities just seemed to lack luster.

What was Lui Kangs Friendship move? Shouldve been to drop the cabinet down to the side, and they start playing together.

Lui Kang got some cool fatalities. The one where he transform into a dragon, and the one where he goes through the opponent as flames are really awesome.

There was a cool Sub-Zero fatality not shown here, I think it was on MK Trilogy. He uppercuts the opponent and forms a spike of ice where the body falls on.

Fatalities are a waste of time.

Fun Fact: This are games that have fatalities: Killer Instinct, Darkstalkers, and War Gods.

He didn't show Sub-Zeros best fatality. In Deception, when he froze their legs, shattered them, then squashed their head
